psp needs games to save itself in 09? i could say the same about my ds. i have no idea what games will be released in 09 on either system. so does this mean the ds needs games to be saved?
i didnt realize i had hurt your feelings captain sony. i simply expressed my opinion on the wii winning in console sales while failing in software. thus trying to explain to you that sales dont mean everything. just because britney spears sells 200 million records doesnt mean her music is the best thing on the planet. but hey dont feel hurt captin, i do have a wii. why dont you add me?
wii friend code- 162359356196352352359821365256 8515985613498237956356812356359 8126596356125...
you see captin' its not all about sales. let me put this in laymans terms. upcoming ps3 games i will purchase; god of war 3, killzone 2, uncharted 2, final fantasy, resident evil 5 (wii will never get re5, hahahhahaha). upcoming 360 games i will purchase; bioshock 2, mass effect 2, gears of war 3, fallout 3, deadspace, etc.
but what about the wii you say?..................... um maybe the next zelda game?
so yeah thats why the wii sucks. it could sell millions of...
i havent bought a wii game since smash bros at the beginning of the year. there hasnt been anything on the wii worthwhile buying in this timeframe. we are talking about almost an entire year! and yet i have purchased 5 ps3 games and 5 xbox games this year. i know i could have purchased some multiplat for my wii so it wouldnt collect so much dust but why would i want to play with a crappy graphics and a crappy control scheme when i have two perfectly good systems?
just like the first person view ruined the metroid series? no thanks. if zelda becomes first person nintendo can kiss my money goodbye because zelda is the only reason i even buy their systems anymore.
burying yourself even more 3d realms. this game has already given gamers a ten year wait and has built a hype so huge that if it comes out and is not the best FPS ever made, then you will feel the backlash of your fans.
from what i know there is no unlimited ammo for any weapon unless you get the bandana. the best part about mgs4 is that you can play it however you want. first person shooter mode, stealthy, or run and gun. the game is what you make of it.
@ virusE if you actually finished mgs4 then it would have explained why revolver decided to use liquids arm. i suppose i could explain it to you but the fanboys would tear me apart if i gave away major spoilers. you people must be slow if you cant comprehend the metal gear story. its not rocket science.
this is true, but the difference exists that sony studios release games for the hardcore gamers while nintendo has failed to provide with decent hardcore titles for its wii. while there are a few titles that have a m rating on the wii. they are rehashes of old gamecube games everyone else has already played, or games that just aren't worth playing. the system is also plagued by shovelware (there are more crap titles than good ones) since developers see the wii as a quick buck. seriously, a ha...
well bladestar i have to agree xbl has more content than psn, but they have alot of crap as well. lets face it. xbl has remakes of older games, games that are just blatant advertising like "yaris", and games released by lazy developers trying to make a quick buck. psn games > xbl games. sure there are more xbl games but they suck. give me one game on xbl that is better and similar to pixel junk monsters, super stardust HD, and pain. wait, there isn't. i own both and not only is t...
bladestar you dont want to pull metacritic reviews for exclusive games, when such wonderful games like bomberman act zero and vampire rain are on your console of choice. look bladestar, NG2 is just a sequel to NG 1 there is nothing to make it stand out as a next gen game aside from graphics, hence why it is not a triple A title like the first one was. will i still pick it up? yes of course! but it brings nothing new to the table, just the same gameplay from the previous ones. i think the scor...
you read my mind exactly.
but that doesnt make my opinion any less bias. personally i lean towards the ps3. its really the piece of mind i get with the machine that i absolutely love. its quiet, reliable, and has a upcoming lineup that makes me drool the most. i usually go with the system that has my favorite franchises on them. i am a big fan of metal gear, resident evil, god of war, and gran turismo. can u guess which system has or will have those games? i depise sony and microsoft as companies but i can openly admi...
there are so many games i love i can only go by genre.
platformer- super mario bros 3
rpg- a tie! chrono trigger & pokemon (red)
stealth - Metal Gear Solid
action/hack and slash - God of War 2
third person shooter- Resident evil 4
FPS- goldeneye 64
puzzle- tetris! hands down!
i am not looking forward to sequels or spin offs if kojima is not involved in them. i mean i would love a remake of the nes classics, and maybe to see a spin off of grey fox, but it wouldn't truly be such a great experience without the direction of kojima. hell to this day the MGS story to me is the epitome of all stories rivaling the godfather. i have complete faith in the konami team, but i feel that without kojima, MGS will be a shallow experience much like splinter cell.
that comment was pretty funny. you want a action flick that showcases what blu ray can do? buy the pirates trilogy, live free or die hard, casino royale, or just about every movie made on the system. lol. what kind of tv do you have?
@bladestar, to a certain degree i understand what you are trying to imply, but the fact remains that it is better to cache a game on a harddrive than to stream it out of a disc. let me give you a good example. Mass Effect. one of the best games i have played, yet it had so many issues concerning texture pop-up, frame rates, freezes, and in some cases audio crackling. if mass effect had a install option i would have definitely done it to ensure a better experience with the game. there is nothi...
same here, but then again i do live in alabama. thank god for video games.
there is a little of a learning curve but the archos whoops the ipods ass easily i know since i had both. unfortunately the archos is not mainstream enough to be more successful, the lacks the easier to use os. and isnt as "pretty" like the ipod. while the ipod lacks well everything the archos delivers on. hell my 160 gb archos can even get a scratch on its 4 inch touchscreen, has proper wifi, can be used as internet browser, has better dvr capabilities, lets me change, delete, ren...
my archos 605 for me. 160 gb, touch screen, wifi, better codec support (mpeg 4, divx, etc.) just dump the files into the device viola. it doesnt need some crappy software, i can even organize the files on the device without the need of hooking it up into the computer. but since it doesnt look as stylish as a ipod it gets ignored.........
