On topic. Everything, no matter how popular, reaches a saturation point. Has the wii reached that saturation point? Perhaps...Perhaps not. It has a really good lineup of games being released and quite frequently.
I was pretty impressed with what little i played of DKCR. Definitely a good buy. Nice to see the wii getting more great games being released more frequently. I felt my wii had gotten dull with lack of interesting titles due to focus on lame things like wii fit, wii music, and other casual crap, however nintendo pulled through. Looking forward to zelda!

I dont see how anyone honestly can claim that the forza cars look more realistic. The cars are shiny, but shiny doesnt equal realistic. In fact it looks a little cartoony because even the tires look like they got hit with clearcoat! Forza cars need to take it down a notch. BAM!!
that FO3 was a glitchy mess. All i heard from people all week is "new vegas is broken and glitchy" as opposed to fallout 3? they are both quite equally broken. The difference is that fallout 3 was fresh and new. New vegas is a improvement of more of the same. Both games are great and i can be forgiving for the bugs and glitches, afterall, with thousands of choices your bound to get a hiccup here or there.
you would have to play some lame ass games too. There is no possible way all the games could have been good. This person is more of a OCD case than a true gamer. Gamers play games for entertainment value. Sometime achievements help prolong the entertainment value. But when you play games that just suck in hopes of inflating your epeen score......well thats something gamers just dont do.
for us old timers lol. I started the series on the nes. In my eyes over the years snake went from rookie to veteran in my hands. This made it that much more meaniful when the solid snake saga ended.
but you seriously need to reassess your reasons.
1.) gameplay did not improve........yeah all the new CQC commands, over the shoulder/first person shooting perspective, drebin points system that will change depending on conflicts and "war price", array of different weapons, improved sneaking skills such as threat ring, camo-suit, gameplay goals such as medal/ranking system for achieving various goals, i could go on.

I am a bit sour that i find good titles of wii games are few and far inbetween compared to ps3 or 360 releases. But if nintendo hadnt bucked up and did something about their position they would have surely failed. Last gen the gamecube was more powerful than the ps2 and cheaper but hardcores still didnt buy it and third parties largely ignored it. The lack of core gamer support put nintendo in this position where they had no choice but to tend to casuals or go down. Now that they are back on ...

When the psp released for 250 on launch there was nothing like it. It played movies, games, mp3s, had very high screen resolution, a analog (first to be done on a portable if i remember correctly), and its graphics rivaled the full fledged console the ps2. It seemed like a good value despite good games took a little while to get released.
The real question here is whats the value of the 3DS? It does everything the current DSi and DS lite does but it will have some exclusiv...
from a actual hardware perspective.....no. I tried move over at best buy playing sports champions. I was impressed. Not by the games. The library is too few right now and there arent any games that could possibly compete with the gems the wii has and will have in the near future. if we were to apply that to any ongoing franchise we could also include 7 metroids, 13 zeldas, and over 20 marios. There are differences storywise and gameplay changes in all of those sequels that keep it fresh. Some will continue to play and enjoy others will move on. I would say milked would be more along the lines of Madden, the new guitar heros, COD, anything that could have been patched in or DLC but added in and sold at 60 bucks.
successful in japan. Isnt apple selling iphones like crazy over there? It was something like 72% marketshare of the smart phone segment. Its not so much the product but as the quality. If the 360 had a much better build quality im sure the japanese would be more forgiving. I dont ever see the xbox brand ever dominate japan. Perhaps they could crave out a nice segment for the market for themselves that could lead to a great market share but dominance? Nah thats way off.

heavenly sword but i dont dig the new dante at all. Its nice to see he has some sort of inner demons and possibly some personality this time around instead of the cocky attitude. However when you reflect back on what Dante always was, you clearly see that it was his cocky attitude that gave him his charm. Great game. I spent alot of quarters on this one back when arcades still existed......damn im old. lol. I hope the konami Simpsons beat-em-up arcade game gets the same treatment soon.
