This is a good thing though. More resources for actual games to use. Multitasking is great on a mobile device, but for a console, not so much. How many things can u play or watch at once?

The major difference is that MS focuses on trying to get timed exclusives for the annual crap or outright make the annual crap exclusive.

Sacrificing specs on games for the purpose of app switching, on a game console, has to be the most counterintuitive thing I have ever read.

Sony pushed the BluRay format for themselves. If publishers want to opt out of disks, it ain't gonna happen.
Again, as we just recently learned, publishers need SONY astronomically more than SONY needs them. They cannot survive on Xbox alone. They need the other 80 million to survive. Why would Sony agree to remove the format they pushed for?

The success of Kinect means the death of traditional videogames and no self respecting gamer uses Kinect, or Move, or Wii motes for more than an hour of horsing around. They use the supplied controller because the controller is the best way to play a videogame.

The two are identical in so far as how they work. I use both and the only difference is xgame chat.
