I tried it at a gamestop and was blown away. It's got some of the best animations I've ever seen.
Good! Anything to get more people playing Bloodborne is a God thing.
I wonder if this will take the place of the Playstation Experiance event.
@wkirk
Could you elaborate on how it feels smart?
It only makes a good movie if the end result is a good movie. I realize that's a stupid answer but it's a stupid question. No game is destined for a great film adaptation. It could happen, sure, but it's taking something that's good for one reason and trying to make it into another thing thats good for other reasons. It's hard to do and really doesn't have much connection to why it was liked in the first place.
Of course that's assuming it's...
I feel your pain. I work a terrible job and have more bills than money. No cable. No internet. My cell is my saving grace.
Considering that this will probably be both their next home console AND thier next portable system, id say it can't be too powerful or else battery life will be terrible and it will got hot quick. Two things Nintendo really seems to hate.
Sadly, the way I see it is that Nintendo didn't have to make underpowered systems to have motion controls (the wii) or to have an tablet controller (the wii U) but they might just need to have one if they plan on making a viable ...
Bloodborne.
Every year Bloodborne.
Yeah but, people in glass houses and all...
I'm actually not surprised at this. We've been hearing for a while now that Nintendo was profitable, even in its current position with the Wii U. It's also pretty common knowledge that Sony isn't doing well in any of its ventures besides the PS brand. There have been rumors for quite a while that Sony may even be interested in selling of its TV division.
My issue isn't with their original presentation. My problem is playing games that were meant to look one way through a lense that obscures that original vision. Make a game that's supposed to look blurry and I'll give it a shot. Otherwise, ehhh, I just don't have the time to play bad looking versions of things I've rebought many times over already.
Ok, maybe I should clear up a few things.
1) I'm 32 years old. My first system was a Genesis. I've had just about every game system since, and including, the NES.
2) my complaint isn't that these games aren't worth a person's time. Only that, having played so many of them on so many diffrent systems over the years, I don't have the desire to do it yet again in standard def. I'm over the novelty of replaying Super Mario Bros. a...
It's hard for me to care about anything presented in standard def.
The question is, "does Nintendo stand to gain more money without making hardware than they do with it." I just don't see that being the case. I think they have proven that cell phone games can make them a l9t of money. I also think they have proven that they can sell a lot of handheld systems. Why put all your money in one successful basket when you have two baskets of said success?
Wait...didn't the DS sell something like 150 million units?
@whyuscared I'm not a fan boy but I definitly don't see how your argument holds water. You're saying the PS4 is at or nearing saturation at 40 million systems sold. The PS2 sold something like 150 million. Do you think there were more gamers then? Does your 10 million number apply to that system too? Does that mean 140 million of those sold weren't to "real" gamers?
Further, what IS a real gamer? Is it in how many games you buy? Maybe which games y...
One man's tedious is another man's immersive.
I don't think there's a single Sonic-related thing they could say, or show, that would count as big news for me.
That said, there's a million OTHER IPs they have that any news on WOULD be.
Well said.
Isn't it about time for anot her sequel?
