I wonder which we will see first; new PSVR stuff of PS5.
Yeah, you can do almost any mix of things.
The only shooter I've put any time into in years (besides Destiny) and I platinumed it (which is rare for me). Go get it. Just do it!
Bloodborne is far and away my favorite game from this gen. That said, I'd be shocked if we see a sequel. From Software has continuously said they are moving on to new IPs and that they are done with this kind of game. At least for a while.
I think the thing that will hold back Scorpio is the Xbox One.
People want to like this system. Nintendo has made a bunch of great decisions and people are ready to reward them.
The general public wants to buy one game system. They want to have one that their friends have also. They want to one with the coolest looking games. They want the one with the franchises they already know they like. They want the one that doesn't cost them an arm and a leg. They want it to be the one their friend who's into games, says they should get. They want the one that's supposed to be the best choice.
Some of these things matter more than others. Some of...
These guys need a huge E3. The whole they dug is deep and it's gonna get MUCH deeper if E3 is just Halo 6, a new Forza, and more boring-looking stuff like that pirate game. They need games to get people really excited for the Scorpio. If they can't do that this E3 then I think Sony can pretty well coast into the next gen.
There's no "Killer App." When the Wii came out it conflated buying the system with playing Wii Sports. There isn't anything to DO with VR yet. Nothing worth spending 500 bucks on for most.
The best PS4 game is Bloodborne. Not gonna get upset. Not gonna flip....just gonna say it and move on...
Someone once said that your first Final Fantasy is always going to be your favorite. VII brought a lot of new players in. VIII was largely sold to people who bought VII. So, in a sense, I always thought VIII was never really given a fair chance.
Since we're all just spit balling here, I say Bloodborne free for PS4.
I also don't think we're CRAZY far from Street Fighter V.
It's got a ton of great games, it's got all the DS's ton of great games, and it's the only place to play most of those great games.
Also, it's positioned itself as a great option for kids. It's not CRAZY expensive and tablets and phones may give kids more access to the internet and such than a parent wants.
Just remake Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shining Force 3!
I'm kind of on the fence. While I definitly want to play the new DLC I'm not sure I've got more than 1 playthrough left in me. So I may just wait for the 2nd one and play them both in one shot.
For what it's worth, my local walmart has been selling The Talos Principle for 15 bucks for a bit now. Don't know if it's company wide though.
So, wait, this article's source is...assumptions?
"This just in; people who make video games like playing video games!"
I take issue with the notion that Nintendo "used" to mean quality and now doesnt. You can say that there aren't enough 3rd party games on thier machines but everything Nintendo does, baring rare exceptions, is of a high quality.
Maybe you don't feel like you're getting enough bang for your buck with a Wii U when there is a PS4 out there to be had, but speaking as a man who has both, I can tell you that the quality of what Nintendo has put on the system...
Valve aren't idiots. They know full well that Half-Life 3 would have to redefine games just like the first two did and that that is almost impossible. But if MS buys them you'd have to imagine the first thing they would want is to put Half-Life 3 back on the front burner.
So my guess is we would finally get that game in the next couple years and it would be underwhelming and we would all regret this happened.
