I'm not terribly into shmups, should I play this anyway? The only thing close to one that I really liked was Rez.
I think this year has been pretty terrible for games. But this game might be an exception...
I just wish the games industry would stop rushing to give people the product before it's done. Nintendo (outside of the rare demo) doesn't do this and I think they are the better for it.
I doubt I'll ever get into the real thing (just too expensive to take seriously) but the digital experience is something I think I could get into.
Hmmmm, It's a depressing thing to think of but I guess I probably knew this honestly.
Isn't the Spike Awards thing also on the 7th? Gosh, so many reveals!
While I was a pretty hardcore gamer in the 16 bit era, the first Resident Evil and Final Fantasy VII in the PSX made me the gamer I'll be for the rest of my life.
Bethesda Game Studios
I know this is a common sentiment at this point but I really am surprised at how bad 2014 has been. There has been, literally nothing that has come out this whole year so far, or is still slated for release, that I really want to play. Not a single thing. I can't remember that ever happening.
I don't have any next gen console yet and I'm aiming to get the Wii U first.
That said, You're right, articles like this seem to be about overcompensating. Which is fine, as long as it's quiet. But part of the overcompensation seems to include yelling it at the top of their lungs to anyone trying not to listen.
Alyx Vance is the best. This is true in a scientific sense.
They should have called it the Xbox 900! ZIIIIINNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!
Yes, I'll just see myself out.
It's nice for what it is but I just can't bring myself to pay for a bunch of strategy guides. Especially when the collection costs more than each game.
It depends on what "10" represents. Sadly, it seems like it's often used in a kind of one upsmanship to see who can react the biggest to the biggest games.
It's a cultural thing; if you aren't over reacting you're under reacting.
I remember reading somewhere recently that if an article asks a question the answer is always no. Not sure if that's true but every time I've seen one since I've immediately heard the word "no" in my head.
Anyway, to answer the topic, no.
I'm really considering picking one up. I've been thinking for months of getting a Wii U and one day it finally hit me that, of the systems I was waiting around to get, the Vita is the one that really HAS gotten an officially solid library. Oh well, probably won't have the cash for either.
That's great! I never played it but was always curious.
Lots of people have mused over the years about the cause of the decline of Japanese game development. I have always wondered if a failure to embrace middleware to the same extent the west has had anything to do with it.
You know those parents who handle fighting children by taking the object in question and saying "now NOBODY can have it! Happy!?"
No? Oh well.
This is driving me semi crazy! I want to play this game so very much and continue to be surprised at how long its taking for that to happen.
