At the end of the day all PS3 owners will be happy with their 3 great exclusives, wether you fanboys like it or not.
my dear xbox360 fanboys who are in denial. The PS3 has 3 great exclusives this year; MGs4, R2, and LBP which has scored way beyond Gears of War 2 and Fable 2.
You can look at Metacritic all you want, but we all know that R2 and Gears 2 are hard to compare and they are both great games to own.
looks fun, I'm thinking about upgrading my PC to get the game aswell as some other MMO I'm geting.

Sorry but that arguement is barely valid, the truth is you can probably guess what a game deserves based on other reviews, the predecessor of the game, and the public feedback.
And based on that, this game does not deserve an 8.5. I'm positive that I wouldn't give this game anything lower than an 8.7 even if I haven't played it.
Would it be fair to give Gears of War 2 an 8.5? IMO, no it wouldn't.
Wow,I guess that the highest rated game on the xbox360 this year and for many months to come in 2009 will be Gears of War with around a 9.2-9.3 meta while the PS3 has a game with a 9.7 average.

9 is not bad, but not really good considering we are talking about the biggest xbox360 game this year or the biggest game this year, or has it all of a sudden turned into just another AAA shooter?

then again, all pro-xbox360 sites knew that R2 was ahead of Gears of War 2 by 1 point in average, so soonor or later one of these was coming.

I guess that based on the hype and the first installment one would expect more even from the first 2-3 reviews.

So let me guess, Fallout 3 is better on the xbox360? The difference is not worth missing out on any of those 3 exclusives I mentioned on the PS3.
