Sorry but that's only the second 10 I see, I've seen alot of 9.0/10 for this game alot more than perfect scores.

I've always seen the GEOW franchise as one of the best, I actually think it's better than Halo. However, based on public feedback and fanboys, the reviews are really underwhelming. If you put the hype to the side just with any other game, Gears of War 2 is simply awesome.

In these days, I've realized that xbox fans have been geting ahead of themselves.
For example: R2 is a flop? Gears of War 2 is supposed to be the biggest game on the xbox360, outdone by Mgs4 and LBP.
Gears of War 2 is supposed to be the xbox360's best looking game, and it is easily outdone graphic wise by Killzone 2. Just saying.
And BTW graphics doesn;t make one game better than the other, IGN gave the same score to both R2 and Gears.

No you are wrong, in these days if a PS3 game scores an 8.9 and is not AAA it is a flop, if an xbox360 game scores from 7.0 to 8.5 it means that it is not a flop and it is a "love it or hate it" game.

yeah because you have played both games no? Resistance was obviously given a very biased review that hurt the overall score, and if you look clearly at the trusted sites they give Gears and resistance the same score.
