When MMos finally make their way to consoles, there might not be any reason for me to upgrade my PC at all.
facepalm, other than the cover system, this game seems to be nothing like Gears of War.
Nobody needs to justify PSN, you are the one trying to make excuses for why this game is having this problem, you are actually making it a bigger deal.
I can say the same for PS3 games that have experienced problems on PSN. Warhawk was the first entirely multiplayer game on PSN so the rush of happy PS3 owners would obviously cause some issues which were easily dealth with later.
Burnout Paradise? I don't recall any of that.

If PS3 owners have a PC with the ability to add the PS3 controller to it, why not get L4D on the PC? And no Ps3 owner cares about supporting MS or not. I mean, don't you think PS3 owners like me are smart enough to figure out that buying a PC with crappy Vista and buying L4D will support MS?

Looks like tons of fun. I think the concept is not original, but Vavle knew how to put it together nicely. For that, I need to give them some credit. Hoping this makes its way to the PS3 sometime year so I don't have to improve my PC's graphics card this holiday season with all the other games I need to buy. I trust Valve could make a good port, doesn't matter if it looks less detailed, things like that don't take the fun away, which is the emphasis on this game.

I haven't tried either so I wouldn't know, but I will try Gears of War 2 in HORDE on wednesday and then R2 on friday.

didn't you see heavy advertising with Halo 3?? And yes they are moderated because logic tells you that things can go bad when you give too much freedom. Enough is already fun.
I'm not pissed off, I'm just stating my opinion. I don't know why some brag about Geow2's sales or Halos. If L4D does good in sales, that's something to really look at.
LBP has higher review scores then both fable 2 and gears of War 2, there is also MGS4, and then early 2009 Killzone 2.

I think games like Gears of War 2 are amazing, but I don't downplay them or lie about owning them just to downplay them.
I'll get R2 regardless after I get LBP. Then Killzone 2, which I just HAVE to get!

Yeah R2 is probably the best this year, Killzone 2 is going to add to the long list of good PS3 FPS.

This won't hurt the PS3 one bit, Sony doesn't even push that much advertising for their games as MS because they can do better without spending money in advertising.

I can already see Gamedaily and variety's pathetic reviews. Honestly just trust IGN.
Even they are more credible than Metacritic as a whole.
