Awesome game, it's one of those games that sets a benchmark of action and fun with incredible graphics. Hopefully, more games will be revealed by both Sony and MS in 2009, because it seems pretty dry compared to this year so far.

the PS3's D-pad seems to work better with a different variety of games except IMO in FPS although the difference is not much.
Sad that Fallout 3 has to become the multiplatform game that fanboys need to make comparison wars about.
purchasing an xbox360 for me would be missing out on LBP and World At War, and maybe even Killzone 2. Right now I don't feel like spending money on a console I mean the only game honestly I wanna play on the xbox360 is Gears of War 2. It's an experience not availabe on the PS3. If there was another game like Gears I wouldn't think twice about it.
Stop saying that this game was reviewed on the xbox360 or PS3, it's the same game anyways.
BTW, Banjo doesn't have mixed reviews, it's a game that barely reaches the B+ mark. Not daying it's bad, just clearing it up. Don't try to pull of a Too Human style defense.

i think I might have to get this on my PC. Hopefully I'll raise some money after spending the cash on LBP and R2, if I don't round up the money atleast a month before Killzone 2 then I won't be able to buy it. :(

Well MS actually pushed it to the limit with having halo on mountain dew cans and halo 3 shirts and merchandise.
Notice how Halo 3 had a special appearance on the history channel about future weapns or something, then gears of war 1 popped up on Mtv. Mass Effect appeared on Scifi.
halo did generate much of it's hype, but honestly, it is given too much credit for what the game really is IMO, Gears of War actually deserves the hype of halo imo.
halo 1, and halo 2 was better for me only because it looked better. Halo 3 was just not the halo I expected at all.

Halo practically carried xbox on its back. That's why MS has made so much advertising for the franchise. And after seeing that consumers buy into hype, they have used it on games like Gears of War 2.
when MS announced "LIPS", he was like " oh yeah I'm going to buy that"! LOL
that saying one game is better than the other is an opinion, or that critics can be biased?
man you need to work harder for that MS payroll. Gears of War 2 will outsell R2 because of the bigger install base. Second, saying Gears of War 2 is better than R2 is simply an OPINION. Critics CAN BE BIASED, I MEAN 7/10 FOR R2? 7/10 FOR LBP? 6/10 FOR MGS4 BY SOME CHICK WEBSITE????
With every PS3 game reviewers try to bring down the score of the game.
With MGS4: Some chick gaming website gave it a 6/10
With R2: 7/10 from variety
With LBP: 7/10 now from gamingcult.
It's sad that these people call themselves professionals. They should be kicked in their teeth.
MGS4 GOTY for PS3 and IMO OBVIOUSLY GOTY overall.

The PS3 can beat the Xbox360 this holiday, both lineups are incredible unlike last year.
