Those are valid points, specially the pricing one. I'm not sure what impact that will have exactly but it's a sleazy move to announce it this late nonetheless.
I don't think the userbase argument applies for a free virtual console that anyone can simply download. Logically speaking, the whole reason Epic is doing this IS to get more non-Fortnite userbase to use their launcher.
The only issue i can see is with people who pre-ordered on Steam. Otherwise is it really going to stop people from buying the game on PC if it's just on another free launcher?
I really wanna see this in action though!!
Yes! But that usually happens when they give you too many abilities at once without any direction. This is why the game design is so important, they have to give you little bit a time, or allow only certain combinations in certain situations, or design the enemies that have weaknesses which can only be exploited by putting specific skills together.
Point is that Crackdown is a well rated game, if you're going to imply that high reviews will be paid reviews then Crackdown 2 should've been highly rated as well, which it isn't. Crackdown 3 is made by Crackdown 1 team, Crackdown 2 was made by a separate team and was basically a money grab.
a gaem
I don't believe it's slow pacing, there are over 100 missions in the damn game, and that's excluding side missions! At some point you just have to take a break because the game keeps going and going. It's actually what makes the game amazing at the same time because there is so much content. They could have stopped at the last chapter and sold the epilogue as DLC like most games do. You can put it away and play the epilogue months later. I would have trouble completing even my...
I think that would be the argument if they were going for exclusives. What they need to work on is getting third party PS4 Japanese games on Xbox. So many Japanese games on PS4 aren't from Sony first party studios, Sony just makes deals with them and the companies go for it because it's the best platform to make money on and Xbox is practically non-existent there. Their best option is to make sure any games that CAN be on xbox should be on xbox too.
It looks amazing! I'm loving the gameplay variety. If those shooting mechanics are as good as they look I'm sold.
I'm really liking this game!
Gameplay is definitely not gonna go back, it was very successful with GOW4, but the rest is possible.
That's definitely the reason you are right, I just don't like it. Rarely get time to play as is, now i have to travel to a different planet, walk over to some dude and grab a quest, and then travel back to do the mission, then travel back to submit it. Yes that's how traditional RPG's are structured, but at least there's less grinding.
I'm questioning the design though not the option. The game is designed to require grinding and do the same missions over and over at different levels, which means the mission design is simplified just like Destiny. It's evident in how you take down bosses, basically the health of the boss auto adjusts depending on the level of players and you have to keep shooting and shooting while a side army spawns consistently to slow you down. This is not how a single player focused and story dri...
This could've been amazing as a single player RPG, with the option of doing co-op missions. The Destiny style grind fest is not very appealing. I don't understand why games are so hell bent on adding so much extra BS to have players spend more time doing the simplest things.
Hey Gamestop I will give you $30 credit in store.
Wow they're giving OG xbox games now? That's legit!
Although it's great, it's sad that this is considered out of norm.
Best to try this on Gamepass!
