It may be true but sounds like wild speculation based on 1 month's data. Both Xbox live and PSN have had great games and totally shit games for years. Nothing you're saying supports your theory. Pretty sure Xbox live makes MS a shit ton of money and they use Games with gold to keep people subscribed, it is a separate model from Gamepass, I don't see why one would affect they other unless they change their subscription model in the future.

The issue of genders in the story is different from issue of genders in development. You can have strong female leads with a primarily male development team, and vice versa. I don't care who is on the development team as long as they understand Halo and do it justice. What I don't want is inclusion for the sake of it, and that affecting the tone of the game because a particular developer has a different vision (which may or may not be influenced by gender) than want the fans want are ...

That's actually a good point, i used to play a lot of co-op in Halo as well. But i think the argument is against the structure of the games. With Halo you have a well paced quality experience in your playthrough, and any additional playthroughs were optional, it was the fun factor that drove you to play it without any rewards. With a game like Anthem, you have to do so much grinding just to finish your first playthrough, and the quality suffers because the game is designed to be grindy. I...

No. It should be the artist's discretion what they think fits a story, nothing should ever be done for political purposes. Most games are about killing people, it doesn't make sense to display women's empowerment by forcibly showing that they can kill people too.

Honestly I wouldn't have minded Halo 5.5 as long as Halo 6 was still being worked on at the same pace with the same resources, meaning they have a separate studio do something like ODST 2. Only because I can only live without Halo was for so long and the drought is killing mee.
