From what I've played that's far from true. The narrative is well written and cutscenes are awesome, only problem is story is not explained properly and it could've been much better.
The gameplay on the other hand is brilliant, you get huge sandboxes to fight, and 4 player co-op takes it to another level. The enemy AI is fine, ally AI is pretty useless other than for reviving you but "abysmal" is too going too far, if anything it's good they don'...
I like the subtle affects these mods have. Nothing game changing but just enough to keep us interested. I need to make some time to play more warzone!!
For fans who know what's going on the storyline is incredibly exciting. There's so much lore and story within halo it's amazing. When you know what's going on you see it from a different perspective.
That being said, i don't understand why they don't make it easier for newcomers and casual players to understand what's going one. A few extra cutscenes wouldn't explain everything but they can definitely give some background to the new player.
I still think it's better than any FPS out there right now in terms of content and value. The story may have been short but at least it wasn't an interactive movie like almost every shooter in the market.

Honestly story was amazing, graphics were amazing, and gameplay was great. Only problem was that it had the potential to be muchh more amazing.
It falls in the same camp as The Order, very enjoyable just not worth $60. But for a cheap price everyone should play it!

I think it was just the streak it's the sneakines, literally the whole team with a loaded wraith and scorpion went by. Was still cool to watch.

Honestly best multiplayer this gen. People literally don't know how to play halo which is why they won't understand until they learn it.
Lean to STRAFE people! You cannot stand in one place and shoot like you do in other shooters. GRENADES whenever you have the chance, remember physics class and bounce them off the walls so you don't lose cover.
And lastly MELEE when you're close enough, don't spray the BR when you're close enough to...
