Well that's not really the point of the article. You must feel some emotion when a character you like does in a movie or TV show? Those are just characters too. Same should apply to a game if it's powerful enough.
But sharks don't have the intelligence of a human, whereas a vampire does. Realistically speaking a vampire should at least contemplate whether it's good or bad to prey on humans.

This was part of Games with gold last year so I've been playing it already, but awesome to see a remaster! Personally Revenge is my favourite, would love to see that someday.

Perhaps, but clearly a lot of people care about intensity and realism or PBUG wouldn't be so popular despite being no F2P. As I said I haven't played PUBG but it just seems more appealing to me.
I haven't played PUBG but it looks a lot more appealing to me. Aside from the fact that Fortnite is free, it's just not a precise enough game for me. The controls are not realistic and the gameplay is pretty cartoonish. I find that PUBG looks way more realistic. Battle royale is all about intensity and realism sot he fact that you can switch to FPS mode is a huge plus IMO.
You do realize single-player games cost a shit ton more than multi-player games right? The single player portion costs as much as the multiplayer portion would after years of continuous development. They may require continuous development of new content but that should be factored into the budget, specially if they are charging the same $60 for it.

It also bothers me when people take remasters/remakes and compare them to the games today. This game is meant to play the SAME as it did a decade ago. The only thing that's supposed to change is the graphics and bugs, to keep it authentic.
I think we should let them be concerned with that. This is a HUGE decision and isn't made without proper reasoning and forecasting. You're right about the price increase though, but a lot of people will just unsubscribe.
honestly no matter how doubtful you are of the game, it's pretty awesome that for $10 you can get a one month subscription and enjoy the game for the whole month.

I think OP means you need HARDWARE to play the games. They aren't being streamed off the cloud. Just using Xbox as an example.

^Then my argument would be to get blood donations or farm human blood in some ethical mutually beneficial way. Or at least farm the blood and not kill them, like in that Daybreakers movie.
The CONTEMPLATION should be there if intelligence is there, regardless of whether they actually do it or not.
