I just peed a little... yarble-garble nezzik! lol
I am very impressed with Sony on this one. That was really quick... hopefully they'll fix a lot of the other problems quickly as well.
I will bet you $100 (enough money to get you some grammar & spelling lessons) that the PS3 will never see Mass Effect.
More hype. I would love to see it come out looking better than the CG movie, but I highly doubt it will... if it does, however, it'll finally give me a reason to drop $600 on a PS3.
Halo has a few things going for it that other FPS games do/did not. I am bringing up just a few key points to answer all those who do not see or understand why Halo is so popular.
1. The story is actually a lot more in-depth than a lot of people give it credit for. Have you read the books? No? Then shut up. Oh, you don't want to read the books? Fine, but don't crap on the storyline, because you're just neglecting to let it draw you in.
2. Online. Yes, online. No other game befor...
...how many people even care about KillZone 2. I mean, if it comes out looking like what they showed a while ago, I can see it doing something. But, the way things are going, it'll probably be a prettier version of what the first one looked like, plus a better, but still shoddy, online service.
I want to see some in-game footage before anyone says anything ridiculous like "this will challenge Halo 3", or "KillZone will be a stomp 2 the game industry". Basically, thi...
as much as anyone else... but is this just hype? "Halo 2 sucks compared to Halo 3" type of stuff would definitely cause many people to get hyped up since Halo 2 was, without a doubt, a 10 out fo 10 game. Either way, I know Halo 3 is going to suck many hours, days, months, and even years of my life.
It's like this is seriously some kind of battle or war. Get a frikkin' life, people.
Now I know when to reconsider the purchase of a PS3.
...but Power Point? That thing is ingenious! Once you figure out all the bells and whistles, what else can do all that? If anyone ever needs to make a presentation, the Power Point program is perfect!
...but I've had this game reserved since I've had my 360... which is about a year now I guess. I love the look of this game, I cannot wait!
Either way, I love my 360, and see no current need to get a PS3. However, if it starts looking like it will survive, and come out with some good games that the 360 doesn't have (MGS4 isn't enough for me), then I'll get one. Heck, if I weren't married I'd have it already... I've always liked having options. I'm just worried it'd just sit there, while I played my 360 and Wii.
for Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, and Fable 2!
I've never been a fan either, although I never really got the chance to play any of them for more than 15-30 minutes ever.
"warrantee" hehe
I love my Xbox360 and all, but I've got to say it is definitely louder than my Wii, IMO.
Hopefully my wife will like it, that way it won't just be Bowling and Super Swing Golf all the time!
I buy games that I know I'll play, like Madden or Oblivion or GOW or Rainbow Six or Crackdown, etc. But if a game doesn't look like it'll have any longevity of replayability, I'll just rent it, beat it, and move on. Some games, however, like Just Cause, I rented it, played it for 5 hours or so, and got bored with it... thankful that I didn't buy it.
But I'm still busy with GOW, Oblivion (haven't gotten all 1,000 gamer points even though I just hit 140 hours), and Rainbow Six: Las Vegas... and Madden when either of my brothers are online. I want this game, but I don't have time to play! Plus, Crackdown is coming soon... damn you, Xbox360! Too many good games! Too little time!
...I dunno. I'm not really excited about this game at all. I'll probably rent it for something to play on one of those bad weather weekends where I'm wanting to waste some time.
