On a slightly different note, I'll be getting a PSP once the price drops. There are a few games worth playing on it.
Is that you? (sarcasm) Anytime someone starts to call you a fanboy or whatever, just point out to them that you actually said "the PSP is a very nice handheld". In fact, you should probably end all your posts with that sentence.
Looks like Sony is copying MS on this one, huh? (sarcasm)
It would be nice if we could all enjoy each system, and get along or whatever. But not everyone has $1,500 to spend on videogame consoles. Plus, everyone will have a favorite, and feel attacked when someone else says it sucks and their favorite is better. Trust me, I've seen people get into fist fights over brands of motorcycles, cars, trucks, etc.
I've been playing a lot of Crackdown lately, and I couldn't imagine it without rumble. I'll have to try turning it off tonight and see what it does to the experience. I do know that one of my controllers was running out of juice at one time while playing GOW, and the lack of rumble was distracting.
...the name "Xbox" scares away the audience they are talking about. IT doesn't sound like anything more than a hardcore gamer's wet dream. I love the thing, I play it more than my Wii, but the name isn't conducive to what Moore is talking about.
...a couple days ago while dropping the kids off at the pool. The game sounds like a lot of fun, and I'm excited about seeing where it goes from here.
If the price was right.
Plus, I can add this to my Power Glove, one of those "VR" visor things, and I'd be an unstoppable force... or super hero... and I'd float around on a DDR pad.
but I don't see anything I need at first glance.
it is February. Jand and Feb are always slower. Also, a lot of people are waiting to see the PS3 for themselves before making a decision. That doesn't mean everyone is trading in their 360s for a PS3.
Take my older brother for example. He didn't buy his 360 until after the PS3 came out, and he saw how void it was of quality games, and a quality online system. Sure, it will get better, but he made up his mind. Now he has a blast getting his a$$ whooped in Madden, GOW, R6:LV, or whateve...
You crack me up. M$ isn't losing money on the 360s like Sony is losing on the PS3. They can afford to sell them less. This isn't bad for M$, this is bad for Sony. Why buy a PS3 for twice as much (a system that has less games I might add, and a lesser online service, etc), when the 360 looks so good over there for the right price?
No offense, DJ, but you're either really, really stupid to think this is in some way bad for the 360 and good for the PS3, or you just very much enjoy twistin...
That's pretty cool. I'm looking forward to an official 360 price drop, cuz then I'm probably going to be getting a second one for my car or RV. Haven't decided which one yet for sure.
I remember that, too. I remember this small pizzeria in Mundelein, IL that had this game, and they'd have small ice cream cones; in the bottom of the cone they'd hide different candy, so you'd never know until you ate all the ice cream.
I buy most of the arcade titles... for some reason. If I try the trial version, and have fun, I almost always buy it. Assault Heroes, Lumines, Novadrome, Robo Blitz are pretty much the only ones I DON'T have. Oh, and Root Beer Tapper.
I love this game. I heard about this game before the 360 came out, and is one of the reasons I purchased a 360 (the other big reason was Oblivion). I am not disappointed at all (with both Crackdown and Oblivion).
I believe you are using some well placed sarcasm there. Nice job.
But this does suck for this unlucky guy.
DJ saw this article and jumped on it, like a fat kid on a cupcake... who hasn't eaten since Tuesday. You can give him the benefit of the doubt if you like, but this is what I've seen DJ do time and time again. He overly exaggerates everything that could possibly be good for the PS3... I'm starting to think he's on the payroll.
I like playing the devil's advocate, too... sometimes.
I'd be down for some anti-JT coalition. This really is something PS3 and 360 and Wii fans could all join forces about.
