You got me in trouble! I laughed so hard everyone in the office here gave me a weird look. I see a "what are you looking at on your computer" speech coming in my near future!
Nintendo really is the only company making money right now in concerns to gaming. Microsoft and Sony are both having troubles turning a profit from their respective consoles.
Heh, just messing. GOW is a great game and deserves any and every award it gets.
I guess I'll have to wait longer for this game, like I am doing for Crackdown. I'm sure it'll make it better in the end.
You're not making any sense. Wow, reading comprehension must really be spiraling downward. He's talking about the 360 in Japan not selling well because it is American, he evens goes as far as to make a comparison to American beef. Oh, and what the hell does "Also American beef must sh|t" mean?
Nice find... I've heard of the MSX before, and knew just a little, but this is really interesting. I'll be reading this all day between phone calls (I'm at work).
I don't know about "easily", but I do see your point. Most gamers are in their 20s and 30s, and therefore have the ability to save money up, or put off something else, and drop $400, $500, $600 for a game console. I have the 360 and Wii, and will probably get the PS3 when the good games start coming out, but I can't say I'm rich enough to easily drop $600 on a PS3. I'm definitely going to have to save a little.
for 400 MS points... I loved these types of games back in the day.
The Truth, funny name... ok, let me make sure I understand you: I am making myself look like a complete ass, and I am also immature. Do I understand right? Ok, good.
I went home last night and watched those vids... pretty interesting, except for the fact that I knew most of it already. No biggie, just something I wrote a report on in Business Ethics, I won't go into it here. Anyway, let me give you a history lesson: in the year 1944, my father was born in Chicago. He never met his fat...
Japan isn't ready for next-gen gaming. Sure, they like them some Wiimote waving, but that really isn't next-gen. I have a Wii, and enjoy it, but the 360 and PS3 are definitely more powerful, etc.
Although I have to say they should have stayed away from StarTrek. There aren't many people out there who are big enough fanatics to buy it. I know it didn't interest me at all. The StarTrek universe has been overdone in my opinion. There isn't much left to it, and to be quite honest, I think StarTrek is dead.
give it a rest already. The updates on Xbox Live did mess up a few consoles, but not as many as you would love to portray. No one I know had any problems with any updates, or any problems with their consoles in general. Sh!t, you've said "brick" more times than PS3s have been purchased.
I didn't. I'm at work and do not have the ability to watch and listen. The thing you're forgetting is that I couldn't care less. I don't care about Sony or Microsoft, I only care about the Xbox360 and the PS3. I really couldn't care less about what Sony or Microsoft does as a company... as long as their respective consoles provide entertainment by way of good hardware and software. If Microsoft also sells babies, or if Sony also sells nuclear bombs, it doesn't affect my feelings on how much f...
You guys crack me up!
I didn't at first, but as I got used to the controls, it is a pretty fun game. I do like the online, too. It isn't as much fun as GOW, but it does fill the need for something different and tactical.
That's funny... your Silverado :) I was thinking about getting rid of one of my PS2s (my sis-in-law has the other one that won't go online) and my original Xbox, so I can get a PS3, just to have it. Why? Because why hold on to a PS2 if the PS3 will play all the PS2 games I already have? Plus, it'll play some of the PS3 games coming out that I'm sure I'll want to play. I don't know, though... I'll have to wait and see. I'll probably wait like a lot of other people for the price to go down. Oh,...
...but it did supply some enetertainment. I say it's worth a rental.
Who cares? If the 360 and the PS3 get it, that means more people have the option to enjoy this game. If not, and you want to play this game, get a 360. This isn't worth going into a huge debate over. If MGS4 comes to the 360, great. If not, and I want to play it enough, I'll have to get a PS3. Simple as that.
No biggie to me... I'll probably end up getting it if it's around $5... just to be able to play it on my big screen... then again, probably not.
I think Sony is trying to "capitalize", however, they don't seem to be selling very well either... in fact, I believe they are selling worse!
Remember, it is January/February time. I'm in the process of trying to open a videogame store franchise, and one thing we talked about in the teleconference was the Jan/Feb lull. This is typical. The holidays are over, people are recouping from spending so much during Consumermas. The only thing that will sell right now is the hyped up,...
