That does look something like what is going on today... but do you know how and why the PS2 made the Dreamcast extinct? Lies. The PS2 did many of the things the PS3 is doing. They yell that Motorstorm is 1080 60fps, then quietly whisper "just kidding". That is a tactic they are using there, nothing more, nothing less.
The difference this time is that most people aren't stupid enough to fall for it twice.
What the heck is up with this website?
This is entertaining! "Down and dirty with real chicks face to face" is the quote of the year... and it's still January. My God... that is funny.
I think this could do some harm, and some good. I don't think everyone with a current 360 would be too pleased, but then some (those with an understanding to how marketing works and how businesses work in general) won't mind at all. Current owners can do what many DS owners did when the DS Lite came out... trade it in and pay a little extra. No biggie. This may attract some additional customers, but I think it would mostly just let MS say, "see? we do HDMI, too!". I wouldn't mind th...
I don't go out of my way to get achievement points... most of the time... but I do enjoy trying to catch up with a friend who always seems to be ahead of me by exactly 1,000 points... damn you, ELEETE!
This guy's incentive is publicity. He wants to be a more well-known politician. Well, now gamers know you, and don't like you.
looking like this.
I used to want to live there after learning the German language and learning about their culture and whatnot... but this sucks. Screw Germany.
since I got my 360 a year ago.
This sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. I've never gotten into a MMO to play it for more than a month or so, but this one might do it for me.
What are you talking about?
He just wants attention. That's all... and like DreDawgg said, he's just helping sell more copies. It's like free advertisement.
I couldn't find a 360 for a lot longer after launch.
If this game is half as good as Oblivion, I'll be playing it for a long time.
I'm thinking November. October isn't close enough to Christmas to help convince those late adapters to choose the 360 next holiday season.
I do think the PS3 has a powerful weapon in having the name "Sony" on it... however, I don't think many people can afford the PS3. Even if a majority of people think "Sony" is better than the rest, the majority of that majority don't have the will or the way to fork over $600. I think many people will wait... wait to see if it is worth it, and wait to see a price drop. I know I am waiting... waiting on both. If it becomes worth it... if the PS3 can give me something I want...
I think it is a blast to play.
Don't look. It is very simple. No one forced you to come in this comments section and read.
I'm here at work, and we were talking about the videogame consoles and whatnot (his wife got him a 360 for Christmas) and he said he might buy a PS3 in a few years so he can show his grandchildren (you know, in like 50 years) what an over-priced paperweight looked like when he was 23. Just thought that was funny and would share.
With Oblivion and Crackdown in mind. Oblivion didn't disappoint, and I'm hoping this game won't either. I'm psyched. I've had it preordered for a looooong time.
