Too many games. It's gonna be LBP for me even though I want SOCOM/headset and Bioshock. Too much greatness; so little time and money.
I am 41 and the first console I bought was the NES. From there I bought the Genesis, then the PS1,PS2,Gamecube(for the kids),PS3. I have tried to like Nintendo games but I have yet to complete a game on the Gamecube. I bought alot of their "best rated" games and I just can't seem to stick with it to the end. My 9 year old daughter played SMG8 for a while at a demo kiosk and she said she didn't like it.
My sister on the other hand is 10 years older than I am and she nev...
I started with a similar machine. In fact, We had that console before we could get cable.
The only thing my age brings is lack of time. Hopefully I'm still fairly lucid when I get to retirement age cause my social security checks are getting cashed at Gamestop.
You seem to have a misconception about the upcoming change. The signal for television broadcasting is changing from analog to digital. The only people that this will affect are using antennas for their t.v. reception. If you do use an antenna, you will be able to get a converter box for very cheap compared to a HDTV. Also, digital does not mean High Definition.
With that being said, I have noticed a lot of people who have the same misconception, so that in itself will push alot o...
I shudder to think where gaming would be if no one ever challenged Nintendos dominance of the industry. No PSX or PS2, no Genesis, etc. I am a Sony fan because their games and machines suit me. I find it rare to get so much satisfaction out of any purchase as I do with my PS3. I also understand that without MS and the 360, there would be nothing to push Sony to the next level. Hell without the 360 we might just have to choose between a Wii and Sony's version of the Wii. Competition makes us w...
It took less than 5 minutes and I was eating a turkey sandwich at the time. Mmmmmmmmm...turkey and cheddar. Check this video out and you'll see how easy it is. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
They won't be able to get their hands on the PS3 for at least six months after this comes out.
Excellent interview. Great questions not just the tired old stuff from every other gaming site.
Pool, bowling, and golf. 2-3 beers and I play really well. To bad I never stop there.
Is anyone else sick of this crap? IGN posted new screen for the three PSP games and all they had was one screen for each game. Now it's this PSTV crap. It'll probably be the same trailer with 2 seconds of stuff tacked on the end. I think they should show something substantial or just keep it to themselves.
I know it is not mandatory but you have to admit that the Wiimote is the "catch" for the Wii. It would be like making a game for PS3 thats not on blu ray or making a multiplayer game on 360 that doesn't use live.
I'm not saying Sony did or didn't give enough notice to their developers, I don't know. I didn't hit the disagree button. I just think you may be comparing apples to oranges.
Sony didn't include the six axis as the only way to control the game. It is meant as more of a "extra" as it is not by any means mandatory to include it in game development.

When I first saw the GDC trailer I was hooked. Originally it was supposed to be a PSN title and after the reaction it got, Sony decided to take this to the hilt. Now we have respawn points, deaths, fire and ice tiles, bosses, three types of enemy AI to use, and 50+ levels created by MM. I hate delays as much as the next guy but how can I b!tch when I can see the improvements on a regular basis.
Tough decision but I'll go with the one that gets this beauty in my hands quicker. Gamestop it is. Hopefully they do a midnight launch.
We use to have an arcade/pool room a couple of blocks away from us called the Luck 8 Ball. I could hardly bend my fingers after playing that game a few times. But I always went back for more.
To bad the xbots had to pick the peanuts out of the turd (with their teeth) before it got polished.
I don't usually come to the open zone... this is kinda fun.
This is a PSP article. You know, the poopstation portable.
The levels will be as complex as you want them. I believe there are three background sizes, but there are ways around that with vertical levels. You will be able to pull up different materials and make them the size you wish and from there you can cut out different shapes to suit your needs. There are also stickers that you can use to decorate the levels and characters. Stickers will also be able to be make with the PS Eye. There will be three different kinds of A.I. so if you wanted to make ...
I thought Portal was friggin hilarious.
