I never said you shouldn't post your opinion. I've never taken a bubble from you. You've explained quite clearly what you think about the game and I simply responded. I am by no means upset that you think this game is lame and I am simply countering your argument with my perspective. I do not intend to change your mind and I don't believe that you think you will change mine. I'm just killing time at work, talking about a game that has really impressed me. I am/will enjoy this for a very long ...
Your problem is you can't see the "big picture". There are many levels that are very challenging and clever. The beta has only been out a short time and everyone is just getting their feet wet. Stuff like the above video are just basic ideas that are short, sweet, and clever. These ideas will help inspire other creators and the levels will progress greatly. When you first picked up a crayon at age 2, did you draw like DaVinci? Did your mom take a look at your drawing and tell you ho...
I've played levels that have had user created enemies. Some were pretty cool and after I beat the level, I recieved them as a prize.
The tools may be limited compared to the full release, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around all the tools in the beta. It's not that their hard to use or anything like that. There's just so damn much you can do, it's a sensory overload. For example, I played a level today and the uploader put a combination on the level. I had to arrange some dice in the proper order to finish the level. Most, if not all, of the levels I played were quite inventive. One was a rocket powered duck... M...
You make some valid points, however, most of the big budget releases are very story driven. This is a welcomed break from the same ol' same ol'.
I find the brilliance of this game lies in the fact that it can be so diverse. If you just want to play a quick level, do it. If you want to spend days/weeks/months designing a level, go for it. If you want to play with your family and friends at home, it's there. If you want to play with friends across the world, go ahead. When you run out of...
This game is going to be somewhat of a hit like Rosie O'Donnel is somewhat of a loud-mouth.
I'm a little worried because I'm already in the Home beta. Home is pretty cool but there is no way I'd want it rather than the LBP beta.
When you are at the main menu in Quore, scroll all the way down to the download center. Check the boxes on the items you want to download and then hit the "download selected items" icon.
in an episode of Quore. Even if Pacific Rift and Wipeout were a year or two from release, I wouldn't be interested in this game. One of the game modes was a 4 hour race... you could set it on auto pilot if you have to take a leak or make a sandwich. I just can't see this type of gameplay appealing to many people.
you would think after being inside of those fat dudes she wouldn't be cold. Nice way to work in a nip shot Sony.
I am in the beta and I quite enjoy Home. That is the great thing about Home, you don't have to use it. My PS3 will play games just as it always did, it is just another icon on my XMB. I've been following the fanboy war on this site for a while now and one response the 360 fans were always spouting when someone pointed out the lack of wi-fi, hard drive, etc. was "At least MS gives you options".
Gamers are quite a competitive bunch but at least find a reasonable argume...
re-read my post. It was $40 for each controller.
I just bought 2 Dualshock 3s for $40 a piece from Amazon. Plus they throw in free shipping.
How many of you posters are going to buy the game?
I just might pick this one up. I've been looking for a "family game" and since there is no word on Afrika making it stateside, this might do.
maybe secondary fire will be a purple laser.
Mock away.
I remember paying $700 for my first "6 head Hi-Fi" VCR. What do they cost now?
I am so anxious to get my hands on this game. I've already taken a week off of work for it. I am the type of person who can appreciate taking my time with working on a project. Trial and error... oh yeah. This game will consume my thoughts for the next several months. I can see it now, my boss will be talking to me and I will be thinking of how to recreate Slim Pickens riding an atomic bomb. Everyone better get used to me saying "Huh?".
It's only about 4 months of dev. time left. 1.Oct 2.Nov 3.Dec 4.Jan
They should go gold in late Jan. to be ready to distribute in Feb.
