And how much talent does it take to review boobies... I've been doing it since I was about 13.
I am not very good at online shooters. I try occasionally, but it is really frustrating to be the noob around such seasoned veterans... that and I just can't dedicate the amount of time needed to hone my skills.
I have had the beta for a week or so and my oldest kid has been playing the hell out of the co-op. As luck would have it, I went to Gamestop to pick up my copy of LBP on Saturday and the clerk told me I didn't pick up my fully paid copy of MGS4. I told him I picked it up at the...
I had a subscription to Maxim and that was about the only decent thing about the magazine. Other than the pics of hot chicks, all the writers seem like smarmy elitists.
It was one of those cards that you take up to the register. I thought it was a little early.
that these people that like to play the "manly" games, are afraid of a little stuffed doll. I just get the image of Marcus Fenix pissing his pants and crying for his mommy when he comes across sackboy.
Put this one on the "I'll pick it up when there is a dry spell" list
I'm glad I bought a Genisis otherwise I would've been a big loser :)
It is rare for me to agree with Siligon. That being said, I wish we had a hundred more users like him on N4G. He speaks his mind and he backs up his opinions with well thought out criticisms, not the usual fanboy drivel. Whenever he posts, there is always an interesting debate to follow. Isn't that why we are here? Remember...If two people have the same opinions, one of them isn't necessary.
Good luck.
Just a heads up. On the Playstation boards someone posted that they already bought a copy of LBP from Blockbuster. I called 5 Blockbuster stores in my area and 2 of them told me that they had some in stock to rent. Some of the stores I called said they had it but couldn't rent them 'til the 21st. Apparently some of their employees are brighter than others. Unfortunately, I happen to be at work so I couldn't go pick up a rental.
Very well put. I don't care if the PS3 is first, middle or last... just as long as Sony makes enough in console and game sales to justify the development cost of their games. I bought a PS3 and I am enjoying it very much. I hope that Xbox fans and Wii fans are as satisfied with their system of choice as I am with mine.
"The game's Story mode is a suite of some 20-odd levels made by Media Molecule that circumnavigate LittleBigPlanet's imaginary world."
I have heard several times from the developers that it would be 50+ levels. Maybe the review copy is missing some levels? Maybe Eurogamer didn't play 30 levels? Maybe the game ships with only 20? As far as the difficulty of level creation, my 9 year old daughter made and published a level. It isn't as creative as the GOW level, but she...
I'm only going to wait nine days. :P
Other companies are really exploitng current gen hardware (Level 5) so Square had better bring their "A" game or I smell major floppage.
Square might be trying to build anticipation for FFXIII but they just seem to be pissing people off. Final Fantasy is one of my favorite series and I will most likely pick up this title but I have many other games to look forward to before Square decides I am worthy enough to find out more info about XIII. I won't be buying Advent Children again just for the demo. I won't be waiting for the same old video with .35 sec of new footage. Let me know when it's ready for NA, and I will decide if it...
and he only gets a disagree? I know what the problem is, you didn't post a link. http://www.gametrailers.com...
White Knight was at TGS '08 in playable form. End of story.
The finished product is supposed to have 6 available spawn points with cameras at each so you can see what's happening before you respawn. Plus one of the badges allows you to set new spawn points or you can respawn on the team leader.
but I have yet to play a video game that doesn't have some minor flaw. Me and my family have been playing the hell out of this demo and my 9 year old daughter doesn't have an issue with the controls anymore. It was a little tricky at first but nothing that would detract from the overall experience. Mr. Healy sounds like a perfectionist (Hideo Kojima anyone?) and I don't think he will ever be 100% satisfied with this game.
was "How is that even possible?"... Then I saw how he did it and I said "How is that even possible?". I have the beta and I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like this.
My kid did find a neat little trick in the game. If you pop in a bunch of small star lights, then take a big object and smash them, it leaves behind a glowing residue on whatever you smash the lights on. Turn the lighting down and it is quite a cool effect. Oh, and when you la...
With such a long list of games I want and a limited amount of time and money, I keep hoping that some of these are going to flop. Then I can cross them off my list and actually spend some time with the games I've already bought. Great score, great game.
I don't know how you multiple console owners do it. I only own the PS3 and there is just too many great games this year. I couldn't imagine throwing Fable 2, Gears 2, etc. in to my list.
