OLEDs are supposed to look fantastic. Unfortunately with the way the world markets are performing, R&D will be put on the back burner for most consumer electronic companies.

Just to clarify: Sony was sued for the vibration function incorporated in the Dualshock controller. They didn't steal the controller. By the way, MS was sued for the same thing, they just didn't fight it.
As far as the article is concerned, you are right, these are two different animals and one has nothing to do with the other. Boku owns LBP as much as Eye of Judgement owns Lips.
Love all the disagrees you get because you didn't like Resistance or Gears. That is the great thing about gaming, there is something for all tastes. Have you considered Valkyria Chronicles?

I knew it was coming but was like "meh". I saw the demo on Quore and downloaded it. I was hooked almost immediately. To much goodness and not enough time.

The wonderful thing about different games and systems is that there is something for everyone. My son is in the army and he would rather play LBP than Gears. I personally don't like GTA or Gran Turismo. My brother will spend months on GT. Same gene pool, different tastes. Gears 2 is a great game... Resistance 2 is a great game. Why does everyone have a problem with that? If you really can't enjoy a game without putting down someone else's preference, maybe you should find a different hobby. ...
that makes me a little jealous of 360 owners. I just hope they scrap that first trailer. The Donnie Darko song in the Gears 1 trailer was brilliant but this just seems like they are trying to hard to copy it.
As far as the PS3 not being able to run it, I guess it doesn't really matter because it isn't coming out on the PS3. Same goes for Killzone 2, it just doesn't matter so why argue about it.
I don't know if I would consider it wrong. I don't own the game so I don't know personally, but from what I've read, the only issue is caused by the notifications from the PSN. Maybe the reviewer never thought to turn off his notifications and Bethsada simply pointed it out to them. If this is in fact the case, I really don't see the problem or the loss of integrity.

This title was really off my radar. I knew a little about it but I was thought it was going to be just another "meh" title. I got the demo a couple of weeks ago and I've played through it at least 7 times. I can't say it's a day one purchase for me but I will be definately picking this one up before the end of the year.
As posted before, the mis-fired rocket launcher and the Helghast on fire, the smoke, etc. I was impressed by the way the tank's machine gun cut down the Helghast. I know Guerilla said they weren't going to include dismemberment but that is as close as you can get. I like their design choices so far and definitely a day one for me. Ordinarily, I hate February... looks like things are going to be different next year.
Some things just cannot be explained. Take the ipod for example. It blows the doors off any other mp3 player, it costs more, and is inferior quality compared to some of the other players.
