This is the first disappointing news I've heard of Halo 4. I've always loved being able to watch and make films of campaign mode. Ah well, hopefully it will be added in later. I'm still really looking forward to the game.
Yeah, from what I understood Spartan Ops is meant to be something of a story-driven firefight that you can enjoy with friends in shorter sessions than you could by playing a campaign mission.

My local Wal Mart closes at 11PM and I only know of 2 occasions where it has held a midnight release.
We should be able to be slightly picky when it comes to something we are paying $60 for.

When I play Halo, I AM Master Chief. At least that's how I always looked at it. It really felt like the protagonist was the player, rather than the player was playing as the protagonist, and I really liked that. Chief never having much dialogue helped this.

AFTER the game is finished. Did you not understand what I was trying to say? Where they already have all of these map packs planned out and the game still has 2 weeks until release, one might believe that they have been working on this stuff for some amount of time already.
It kind of bothers me that these map packs already seem to be fully planned out. I'm not saying that maybe some of these could have been included on the disc, but I know the fact that they already have the maps planned all the way into April is going make some people suspicious. Somewhat misleading, just like the article from a few days ago that was like "best assassin's on Sony's payroll", more than half of the characters listed are from cross-platform games.
My expectations for this game are very low, it would be wonderful to be pleasantly surprised should this game wind up being good.
Here's hoping Bioware will start to use the fan feedback and constructive criticism at their disposal.

1. Cease all work on a future Mass Effect game
2. Pour all resources and energy into building a time machine
3. Travel back to the halfway point of ME2's development
4. Somehow convince Drew Karpyshyn to stay on the Mass Effect 2 team, also, make choices from the first game have more of an impact in the second
