I like DLC when it's announced a few months after the game's initial release and is well thought out content that adds something worthy of the asking price to the game. Unfortunately, such DLC is quite rare. When we get a season pass announced a month before the game is even out, with 4 pieces of content already given individual release dates, or at least a general time frame within which their release can be expected, this is when I worry about the quality of the content. But by far ...
I've used... probably somewhere around 20 of these golden keys and I always get the same chaff. Rubbish grenade mods and utterly useless pistols. Good to see someone's had better luck with them though, haha.
Yeah, Assassin's Creed is something I look forward to playing each year. I've yet to come away from one of the games and feel as though I wasted my money. The one that disappointed me the most was Revelations, but I still thought overall it was a good game and I had a lot of fun with it. I think my hopes were a little too high for 3, but again, I think overall it was a good game and I had a lot of fun with it.
I'm definitely looking forward to 4... pirates and more naval ...
If you can push all thoughts of how terrible the game's ending is and focus only on enjoying this final reunion with the friends you've made saving the galaxy in the first two games, then this DLC is very enjoyable. It worked for me with one exception. My love interest from ME2 and 3 said something to me that made me sad because I knew I was going to ultimately pick the control ending because no matter how much my Shepard cares for his love interest, he's not selfish. He's not...
"It's sold more since this article.dissagree with this and your all sad i provide proof guys don't be blind."
I'm disagreeing with this simply because it has 0% relevance in a Dead Space 3 topic.
So essentially... you would be delighted to witness a franchise many people have enjoyed this generation fail, simply because it isn't available on a certain platform?
The microtransactions were not detrimental in any way, they merely provided a way for players to acquire extra resources ASAP, resources which EVERYONE would be able to find a plethora of within the game without paying a penny extra. Microtransactions should not have affected the game's sales at all, it's possible that the many people whom ruthlessly complained about the game having microtransactions without first realizing just what the microtransactions would be providing are respon...
Did not like the ship missions?! That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but I think the naval combat was a breath of fresh air for the franchise and I enjoyed it so much that I'm looking forward to more of it in the next installment.
I think the low point of the franchise was Revelations. Still a good game, but of all the AC's, that one was for me the most disappointing. 3 was good, not great, but an improvement over Revelations in my eyes. Brotherhood is the ...
Yes, he is Connor's grandfather.
Eh, I've enjoyed it. It is what I expected it to be: a simple sci-fi shooter with great visuals. The story has a bit more depth this time around too. I wasn't expecting it to reinvent the genre.
I didn't read the article, but after playing through Dead Space 3 multiple times, I can honestly tell you that you are NOT paying to collect anything by purchasing microtransactions. The microtransactions are for extra resources, I never once needed to purchase anything, even on the higher difficulties. They are there for anyone that wants additional resources. You collect plenty of resources from enemies and by exploring the areas of the game, plus you get 3 scavenger bots that you can s...
I wouldn't expect it to be released any earlier than 2 weeks after they officially announce details on the content, which Visceral has not done yet.
I wasn't concerned with whether or not Shepard survived. I went into the game fully expecting my Shepard to die a hero. What STILL bothers me about the ending (other than numerous plotholes such as why did Sovereign need to access the Citadel in ME1 if the Reaper had an "inside man" in the Catalyst all along?)is the fact that the ending completely trivialized the Reapers. The Reapers had quickly become my favorite video game villains, and then the final 10-15 minutes of Mass Eff...
I hate these trailers... well it's a love/hate thing really. They get me excited for the new content and then after downloading it I play a couple matches and have a terrible time. After not having played for a while, I'll get into a game only to find that the weapons and characters I used when I last played have somehow been even FURTHER nerfed into oblivion. It's also likely that the enemies have received some additional buffs in my absence.
Nevertheless, I'll strugg...
I'm really on the fence about this DLC. Yes, I'm one of the people still somewhat bitter about the game's ending. I purchased the Leviathan DLC when that came out and absolutely hated it. Well, just like the main game, it was good right up until the final 10-15 minutes. It only served to further trivialize the Reapers, and in my opinion it again detracted from the once great lore of Mass Effect. I didn't even bother with the Omega DLC. I was still slightly bitter about essenti...
Yeah, of all the changes I've heard they've made, none of them are for the better in my opinion.
Forgive me if this information is outdated but I have read that they...
1. Removed DBNO (down but not out) from multiplayer
2. Removal of DBNO also removes the ability to execute a downed opponent
3. Removed the Locust faction from standard PvP matchmaking modes (now just COG vs COG)
4. Disabled the ability to carry both a shotgun and a rifl...
I thought it was a wig at first but I soon realized that... nope, just a man with luscious locks.
Exactly. Talk about being late to the party. And by party I mean the premature uproar people flew into when they found out Dead Space 3 would feature microtransactions. Rather than calmly wait and see just what it was an individual could acquire via microtransaction most people simply locked themselves down into the dogmatic view of "all microtransactions are evil, PURE evil, Dead Space 3 will have microtransactions, Dead Space 3 will be garbage, EA is evil incarnate, EA is using their m...
Yeah, I spent like 80% of my time in Crackdown 2 just messing around with friends rather than completing whatever the objectives were. It was mindless fun at its finest.
Unfortunately, no, Indoctrination Theory is not true. Bioware had the chance to claim this idea as their own and release it as DLC, and as "evil" as post-ending DLC usually is, this would be one case where myself and I'm sure many others wouldn't have minded paying extra because it would have meant that those original terrible endings would not have been canon.
Supposedly, in mid-late 2011 Casey Hudson was praising Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Twitter. When he and Ma...
