It really doesn't matter what Microsoft does. People who are loyal to one company won't even consider another no matter what they have to offer. Fanboys, sheep, whatever you want to call them, will just find other reasons to say their preferred console/company is better. I am so glad I pre-ordered a PS4 and will be doing the same for the Xbox One tomorrow when I get paid. The games are what drive me to them.
I plan on buying an Xbox one (and a PS4 :-) ) But I have to say it sure seems the folk in charge of the Xbox division of Microsoft are out of touch with consumers as of late....
I am not going to try and change your opinion, it really isn't worth people getting upset over. Obviously Microsoft believes in the cloud so much they designed the console to rely on internet connection. People without internet are a very small minority at this point. I live in a rural area and the only people I know without high speed internet simply aren't taking advantage of the options available. The way Microsoft has set up their licensing for Xbox one is in line with the rest of...
@muerte2494
Like how you twisted everything to try and support your opinion. Twist all you want, but you people who are loyal to one company are tools. I could care less if either the PS4 or Xbox One sell terribly or not. Both will have excusive games I am interested in and that is why I pre-ordered a PS4 and will be picking up the Xbox One as well. I call myself a gamer because I like games and could care less what system they are on or how popular they are.
Um. Who sells the same copy of a single game twice? Your logic is a little off there..I will own both right out of the gate so I guess the difference is there.... Sorry you will be missing out.
Not trying to change your opinion, you have the right to that, but if people would look at the explanation in the link I posted above they would see there is good reason, from Microsoft's end, for the 24 hour check in. It is obvious the cloud is a major part of the console. There are some...
Why do people keep acting as if Microsoft is enforcing the DRM. It has been stated several times it would be up to the publishers. Even though I pre-ordered the PS4 I plan getting the Xbox One soon after launch and according to the terms described in the link below it doesn't seem that bad at all. After reading this clarification I can see why always online would be important. Also, about that DRM policy, who is able to trade a single copy of their disk based software more than once? I wo...
I pre-ordered the PS4 first because I have the money for it now. I plan on having the Xbox one on launch day as well. People need to quit letting the gaming media blow this out of proportion. You can still trade your games at a licensed dealer. Because of the cloud you can play all of your games from another console as long as you are signed in to your account. There are many more neat things that more than make up for the always online requirement. Here is the link if you want to check it ou...
@ Medman Oh you mean how Sony added the clause to their terms of service just after the big PSN outage???
Just for your information Sony has a class action waiver in their terms of service. It has been in there since 2011. Of course I support both companies.........
What a disagree. I read through all terms of service before I agree to them. For those who are lazy I spent two seconds and found this article related to it. I do own a PS3 and remember the particular section pertaining to opt out of the class action waiver. Anyway here is the link to the related article.

Hmmm. All this Xbox bashing yen none of you realize Sony has a class action waiver for many of their current services like PSN. It has been in place since 2011 for those that read the terms of service before they click I agree.......
@ Good news
You need to stop pretending you are a gamer. Only sheep support one company, which you clearly do. All this talk of DRM is very silly. It is up to the individual developers if they are going to enforce DRM on Xbox One, not Microsoft. The developers own the games, not you. When you purchase a game you are buying the license to use the game. As Microsoft has stated, but your memory must be bad, you will still be able to trade your game through a licensed dealer. Are you too...
All I can say is wow. You have too much time on your hands son. I will be buying both and own both of their current offerings. Plus I disagree with pretty much everything you said.
What is with people? Two weeks ago all I heard was Xbox has no exclusives. I don't want to pay to play online.... Now I read comments "I'm not interested in those exclusives" "PS+ is only $49.00" Really? Glad I will be buying both day one.
Since when is a console launch not limited in terms of console availability??............
I don't think the numbers for both the PS3 and X360 are accurate. Although I believe the PS3 sold more last week, I read an article that stated X360 as selling 129,000 in the US alone. This is global so how could the 86,000 be accurate when a more reliable souce (if you go for that when it is all estimates anyway) claimed a higher number for one region??
I thought it was no secret that all companies do this kind of stuff.
The no sources, a web page that looks like it were made by a little kid, no other word of this from any other source. Hmmm.....................
I look at all the remakes I have purchased for my PS3 and question why there are people bashing the competition for doing the same...........
So the stuff Sony has done in the past makes them evil today as well? You did say once evil always evil correct?
