I game on a 60" Panasonic Plasma and I cannot tell what games are and are not 1080p on both my PS4 and Xbox One. I guess if you like bragging rights it is ok, but in the end that is all it is to me....

Picking this up for my PS4, but I have to admit if the last comparison GIF had not been labeled It would be very difficult to tell the PS4 version from the Xbox One version.

You know there are some people, like me, who enjoy gaming more on their console than their PC. If your PC is where you enjoy your games then more power to you. I happen to enjoy gaming no matter what platform it is on.
It really doesn't matter to me as I am getting both consoles day one, but even I find this hard to believe considering all the bad press Xbox One has received.

Sounds very similar to Microsoft's original family sharing plan for Xbox one. It was one of the features I hated to see go when they changed their plans to please their fan base....
I thought only Microsoft forced customers to buy things. :-)
My prediction: I will have both consoles day one and will not care which one sells more or wins the console "war". :-)
It seems the author did everything possible to paint the Xbox One in a negative light. Beware of anyone's opinions that offer either all negative or all positive.
I can understand the disagrees if these were people who sat less than 6 to 9 feet from their screen. Unfortunately I have to agree with the experts when they say there is no discernible difference in the resolution the human eye can see from the average viewing distance of 6 to 9 feet. If you sit closer than that, more power to you. Plasma still offers better contrast ratios and refresh rates than any 4k TV on the market. 4K TV is nothing more than good old marketing for the most part. At lea...
I have read a few expert reviews of 4k TVs and every one of them say current 4k tvs do not match current plasmas. The only benefit of 4k resolution would be if you sat closer (below 9 ft) to the screen.
Now my consoles can be that much closer to each other. :-)
I would love to see this happen. It is one of the most memorable RPGs I had played this gen across platforms.
I have always purchased every console each generation and the current spec war seems to be a total repeat of the last generation. One side says their console is super duper powerful and the other side says it doesn't matter. I sure haven't noticed much difference this gen and I am sure it will be the same next gen. Only time will tell, but for me I will enjoy both consoles even if the this time the difference turns out to be true.
The game play videos I have seen look really nice. It kind of discredits people trying to act as if they are hiding something. Besides what game company doesn't do this??
@allformats You make me so glad I have both consoles pre-ordered because I would hate to live a life full of disdain toward a piece of plastic and electronic circuitry.
