Well it is TM so the single player, even at it's most fleshed out, might seem too old school for newcomers.
Like he said, its car combat, not missions. Even so, the vibe, cutscenes, bosses, etc always made it coherent and meaningful.
It's one of the negatives for me.
I prefer my enemies getting away with a little bit of health when I try to shoot them from a less than ideal situation. It makes things more balanced and competitive, not just about who's ping was better at the time.
Maybe when everyone has fiber-optic cables or the next thing after that "twitch" will be ideal for competitive games, but it just feels random at the moment.
The reason's COD i...

oh ok yea...
It's kind of a big FU to motorola for microsoft to make money off of a device being used to connect via wifi....TO ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR DEVICES (motorola router??) and get skimped on royalties for the arbitrarily added connection point.
The whole thing is a bit much when nobody owns airwaves to begin with!
not worse, like lots of popular media these days.
You don't play GT to "beat it" and wait for a sequel. It's almost like a fighting game, where even once you memorize all the moves, you've only just begun, because 99% of the fun comes from learning when to execute them.
So you unlocked the X1. Now you actually have to learn how to drive it effectively. Yea, its gonna be a while, grasshopper.
100% False
The sniper scopes just make the drop more visible because of how far they actually zoom in. Seriously, the scopes are more powered than you think.
called
'Don't ask, Don't tell'
yet.
But the feeling of going 0-60 in a beast of a car is slightly off-topic, if only ever-so-slightly. What is being compared and discussed between real life and GT5, primarily, is HOW turning, braking, accelerating are accomplished, and the accuracy to how someone would drive in real life.
No one would ever compare the emotional and physical responses of g-forces and adrenaline from a console sim to the real thing.
But yes, no sim as of yet would b...
Have you a patent on what fun is?
Because for me, NFS HP is not fun. Its boring and not very challenging, as well as having a low skill cap.
Do you even have a license in real life? Have you ever taken your car into wooded winding roads and let loose? If you have and enjoyed it, nothing other than realism will satisfy that craving. Fantasy can't suffice when it comes to cars. I want a car to act like a car or it just doesn't feel right, or fun.
i use anything that doesn't have those copy and pasted iron sights...
oh how those annoy me
galil, aug w/scope, hk, stoner for me
There is a difference between depicting vietnam versus current conflict.
The difference is in the DRAFT.
Imagine being FORCED to go kill people across the world for reasons that seem to be intangible. No wonder there was so many worst-case-scenario PTSD vets.
Since its volunteer now, people know what they are getting into, and many of the soldiers and officers aren't exactly morally adept, shall we say. The ones that are usually leave.

On one hand you're right, on the other hand, you're being ignorant.
It gets less attention because it takes more skill. Not saying Reach doesn't take skill, but the barrier of entry is higher in BFBC2. To popular sites like gamespot, that's a negative.
I only use this word for extreme situations, but
That phrase is MAXIMUM GAY
@toaster- very nice. Is this an original by you?
.. is that they quickly become overrated. Some of these people missed out on because they never heard of it, others were "underrated" for a very good reason.
wtf guys spyhunter ps2 was the bee'z kneez yo

You can't be positive about low quality. It's not so much "negativity" so much as the truth wrapped in a cynical bow. Too many people have lowered their standards, so he's seen as "edgey" but really, anyone who played games before ps2 knows where his head is at.

It's cool to see "humans" making games that actually are grateful to do what they do, not just:
