If you haven't seen a good one yet, you haven't looked hard enough. They exist. LOTRO has an amazing model that reels you but doesn't feel like a rip off or a waste of time like the majority of the Asian grindfest ones out there.
The lower the health on players in a game, the less people will notice, but the more it matters. Its the same in any game with a host, but if the game sports higher health amounts, you at least have the time to react and make it somewhat even.
Yea. Fallout needs a new engine...
ANYWHO.
Exploration is fine in a game.
You're probably going to do some hefty item searching in this game if you go that route (the fun route)
For every one person like you, there's twenty 12 year olds on COD yelling at their mom to stay up later/not do homework/etc.
Don't act like you've never experienced these morons online, they are all over XBL and somehow NEVER MUTE THEIR MICS.
If the mood was lighthearted and joking, everyone would admit to the number of these kids and make fun of them. But when someone comes along and uses it in a way that's "against" gaming (hint: i...
"Regarding the criticism he gets from the gaming community at large, Gentile said the negative response is partly due to a misunderstanding.
"I tend to believe--and there are people who disagree with me--is what we're looking at here is an impulse control disorder," Gentile said. "You know you should do your homework, but you just can't stop playing. You know you have to go to bed, but you have to get just one more level. What needs to be changed i...
the special weapon attacks are integrated into combination of square and triangle.
your POWER abilities are triggered by the L2 + X O etc
The one you didn't pay full price for and blazed before playing. There is a certain catharsis DW offers that other games, unfortunately, haven't even tried to outdo. Nothing like killing hundreds and hundreds of soldiers. Until someone takes the time to actually do DW better, DW still has a monopoly over genocidal action.
Wasn't Black Ops the 7th COD? Imagine if they said "seventh times the charm" lol
In a shorter time span as well.
Chill, its not like the hive mobs required effort. Stingers, maybe, not the workers though.
"Also the fact that the author believes a 360 exclusive that got mediocre reviews across the board was one of the best superhero games this gen makes me suspect of his allegiances. "
ugg I was agreeing with you before this. "allegiances" ugg... I want to puke.
I don't think anyone who played the beta saw this as completely unexpected. The game mostly speaks for itself.
As far as upcoming ps3 games, I have to say "My ps3 plays other games?"
They'll be on sale by the time I want to play another game.
Too Human gets a lot of hate but its really a diamond in the rough if you got it on-the-cheap. There is more armor and weapons in the game that you could ever hope to collect. The twin stick combat is the perfect solution for console Diablo A-RPGs. The customization kept me coming back to get my 25 bucks worth and boy oh boy did I ever.
Now if only Epic didn't screw the over the first time, they'd of had enough money left to finish the damn game. Now they might never ...
still can't understand what words and phrases signify personal opinion I see.
"The game also reminds ME* of Crackdown (ARGUABLY** the best superhero videogame this console generation)"
*If the smell of a shoe reminds me of San Diego who is anyone to tell me it doesn't? I processed a smell, the smell triggered a memory. There's nothing there that involved anyone else but me.
**Arguing for somethings status requires someone t...
Turbine says hello. Riot Games says sup.
F2P isn't ideal for a game like DCUO though. Much of the gear collection can be cosmetic only, so making that huge part of the game sent to the cash shop would just ruin it completely.
It's the best thing that dance games could ever want. Probably not much more price difference than a DDR mat. I just don't see why people want to shoe horn it into places it doesn't have much use...yet.
In the next console they should integrate it into the consoles box/chassis so developers can use it for arbitrary and random things. No (third party)game company is going to risk isolating their customers to use it for a mini-game in a FPS/RPG/etc, or waving at npcs in skyr...
prepare for the singularity. The non-transhumanized will perish in the face of our robot leaders.
If the game has a real block button and a real way to parry, its not hard to learn how to shut down those people. In SC4 I could pretty much block and parry every kilik and maxi spam combo. Then THEY were the ones that quit.
Lots of games claim to have systems like this, yet none of them really work. It will be interesting to see if this works.
Just because its new, doesn't mean its great. I'm sure everyone thought new wave was so futuristic and stylish in the 80's. Then they actually realized how cheesy it actually was.
Same goes for touchpads. Yea sure we've all dreamed of a touchpad computer, but the iPad is just a downgrade from laptops. Buttons feel good. CONTROLLERS AND MICE feel good. Humans have nervous systems, they need to know with their hands, not their eyes, that something is working. Yo...
I love this game, but come on, even if you are accurately doing all the combos, and only combos, the amount of times you have to keep hitting square and triangle certainly classifies as button mashing.
