If the game tries to be a similar but improved experience, its lifespan will only last until the next iteration of the game that actually SPECIALIZED in doing the thing they stole/improved on.
I really like what they are trying to do with the game, but it doesn't quite cut it for me. The chassis moves like a jello boat, as if its not even attached the wheels at all. I'm all for violent shaking and borderline suicidal driving experiences translated via camera and visual effects, but this just looks cheap and straight out of alpha stage.
A lot of people knew why the game could be good, but chose not to tell the company that such short linear games are worth 60 bucks.
I have to say, I knew people would try this "underrated" spiel as soon as it was reviewed. Yea rooting for the underdog is great....except when that underdog is overpriced, too short, and lacking any real feeling of interaction with the compelling environment and story.
I had a suspicion that reviewers were drinking the kool aid...
The only game I've continued to keep playing since November. So, flaws, aside, that's saying a LOT for me.

For many reasons. It is unfortunate that the consoles can't handle the bigger player count and maps but that doesn't mean they should make the game look like complete ass to fit it in.

Its hard to get a sense of whats actually right/wrong with the game so far from your post as most of your complaints aren't very solid. Not having re-spawns is something that a LOT of people will be looking forward to, the last men standing failing to find each other sounds like a problem with the map, or the players.

I'm finding the single player MUCH better than what I expected, and seeing civilians shot and babies crying in the background of a firefight really gave normally arbitrary battles some meaning. At least for me.
true frontlines had some big and awesome maps, but honestly, for this game, I'd like to see more smaller neighborhood maps with an emphasis on house clearing with squads+drones.
Yea I'd much rather play Forza than this. If xbox guys are thinking about getting this game...they should just revisit Forza instead. I can't see this lasting more than a couple of weeks for people who have played the hell out of Forza or GT5
