These are the types of games that you really can't trust reviews with, you have to play them. I predict it will get 7's because of technical issues and noobiness of the lone wolf reviewer.

The only thing that would stop me from recommending this game to certain people, is the difficulty of the puzzles
...and by difficulty I mean none. The puzzles are more of a spectacle and "wheres the next brightly colored ledge" than an actual challenge.
The game plays *so* smoothly, that they seemed to have ironed out anything that held the QA playtest noobs back, which is a shame, considering how awesome the game is.

incremental upgrades to the engine and then adding a tiny new part of the story seems like a waste of time for Valve considering their workload and outlook.
Neither ports of the original PC version were handled by them.
