could flip it around the other way too.
If people have only played warhawk/ucharted/resistance they are obviously going to think in those terms.
I can see where they might have got a halo impression with the buggy's and honestly, thats not a bad thing at all. Thats just how they see it. Halo may put a lot of people off, but they do have very good vehicle physics so I think it was purely a compliment rather than flamebait.
A little bit of the style does, yea, but this is obviously going to be a lot better, ha
2012 nooooooooo
noooooooooooo
They shouldn't reveal games this good until the day before they are sold.
Not surprised.
Can't wait. Glad to hear it is actually long and not just "PR told us to tell you its this long under super specific nooby circumstances"
Usually the only reason games have to make the health excessively high is if theres a lot of lag. If they fix that theres no real need to be excessive with it.
Character Customization is the crack of TPS
every TPS should have it.
LOL How desperate will all these stores get?
next up:
The Sunday Afternoon:"THE GAMES FREE JUST TAKE IT, WE TRIED IT AND COULDN'T MAKE IT PAST THE FIRST LEVEL SO HERE YOU GO"-Deal. Only from Wal-azon-buy-mart
USA likes gratuitous violence?
"Are we going to do a two-layer Blu-ray and then what are we going to do, like seven Xbox 360 discs?"
Said it himself.
I reaaaaaally hope they don't focus on combat.
I get the feeling that there wont even be puzzles.
what if PSN comes up tonight with a free StarHawk download and a voucher for free blowjobs and 4g blunts! /s
lol at fail title.
Sadism is fun in *every* game.
Masochism....is fun in Demon/Dark Souls. Not every game evokes that, so thats probably what IGN meant...
I think its because they can sit on those IP's and get 'em hyped and shiny that they feel they can experiment.
IP's worth isn't just in the product but as an asset that when shit hits the fan, can be sold to the highest bidder.
How many studios would kill for the rights to Final Fantasy or Deus EX?
Also consider that they are making perpetual bank with handhelds and now iPad/iPod games.
They are probably muc...
Actually I think the devs will be the first to be convinced. I'm pretty sure they are all jealous as hell that they aren't going down in history to have the first game with real actors performances captured at such high detail.
As far as publishers go, that really isn't as concrete as just sales and audience. Look at oblivion, I think people would agree that oblivion was a sucess, yet how many companies have the experience, money, and audacity to try and rival the...
That DOES happen in real life. Not with cash but with credit/debit, its usually a minimum purchase amount, otherwise I think they have to pay a transaction fee, just like XBL/PSN does.
If you want to point a finger, I say blame the banks. Theres lots of other stuff you could blame them for too.
Dave&Busters happened?
I dunno if they were the first ones to do it but holy shit do they do it. Fifty cent games become 90 cents, dollar games become 1.70, etc. You are never quite sure how much the game is costing you, but it always feels like you have more credits than you actually do.
They had this giant multiplayer trivia game, and there was 4 other plastered people playing it so I joined in. Normally I would have never fed in dollar after dollar, bu...
Gamble? Are you kidding me?
-Rockstar label
-TV ads up the wazoo
-TV ads that show the R* label
-New Tech
Rockstar always sells, and fancy new graphics technology always sells, whether its good or not is irrelevant. Its going to sell enough to warrant sequels and DLC and ripoffs. It may not convince the "too-cool-to-play-anythin g-but-10/10-CODsequels" crowd its something legendary, but by then a lot of them will have alread...
Waited for the funny to start
still waiting
There's always room for good games. Genre is irrelevant
Can't tell if this game is good though.
