There just seems to be a big rise in F2P, battle passes, co-op focused looters, and just live service in general, they all just look and feel the same to me.
Luckily there are still plenty of games I like, but I'm not liking this live service boner the industry has developed in recent years.

it;s the same type of people that call Sony anti-consumer for time exclusives (which MS still do a lot btw) but MS the saviour of the industry by spending almost 80 billion on 2 giant publishers and taking decades old IPs with strong userbases from other platforms.

After the State of Play tweets went up immediately from publishers revealing the games for other systems, it's not the same as putting a 2 day embargo on mulitplatform announcements, no matter how you try to spin it.
And SMT5 is still only on switch, can't expect every game to be on every platform.
I get it, but P4 has been out on PS4, and even PS3 since 2016, most people would have been able to afford a dirt cheap PS3 during this time surely? But that also raises another question, if it can run on PS3 surely it can run on Switch? And I'm willing to bet it would sell quite well? I really don't get it lol
