Man. Is that it? Infamous 2 had way better pre-order bonuses than *that*.
It had bonus skins, too, but a lot more besides. Extra powers, soundtrack, statuette, and most especially a messenger bag. (That has actually come in handy since - it's perfect for day trips.)
I'll get Second Son, sure. But that's not gonna motivate me to pre-order it...
"I guess they have to be with all the little boys on there giving them a hard time."
That's the point. You don't have to "tango", you just have to show up and not be male.
Go ahead. Set up an account that claims to be female, get a girl to speak through your headset. Play exactly the same as you usually do. See how you get treated...
Yeah, what works in the comics doesn't carry over to real life. There *is* a reason why comic-book costumes evolved the way they did, though: http://www.quora.com/Superh...
(Basically, old printing tech.)
I dunno if I can justify $15 for it. At $10 I'd be sorely tempted, though. ROTT was awesome and different when it came out - one of the first to really embrace crazy humor and fun. Sort of the Saint's Row of the old DOS shooters.
I mean, here's the cheat-menu music: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
You know how early builds usually look so much worse than the final product? Getting something running is one thing, getting it optimized is something else. This might just be an early build for PS3/360.
But what if we turn it around?
If the PS3/360 version is at this level, then is the PS4/Xbone one at a similar development level, too? In which case... will the final PS4/Xbone version look even better than it does now in the current next-gen trailers?
Pretty much a system-seller for me. Will definitely be the first PS4 game I play.
The PS3 could use "remote play" - the PSP or Vita or the Sony phones. Add an Android & iOS app and you're most of the way there.
I understand the PS4 is going that way - 'bring your own device' with respect to a tablet or whatever. I thought that was brilliant - almost everyone's carrying around a touchscreen now, why bother bundling one with the system?
Well, it *does* say "early preview build"...
The crash isn't, but at least anecdotally, there's *some* sales interest. My boys wanted a Wii U because several of their freinds had ones already. It always takes time to build a console's audience.
BTW, the replacement is working right now, but wow - the warnings about that first update taking a couple hours were right. Ah, well, they're digging it.
Funny, my kids pooled their saved-up present money just last night, and we went out and got a Wii U deluxe. They were very excited.
Then we got it home, hooked it up... and it was busted out of the box. Just a blinking red light, no picture, no nothing. We'll be exchanging it today. Wasn't the best first impression, but hopefully it was just a fluke.
Adventure was my favorite. And it even contained the first Easter Egg, FTW!
Well, I can see why you have two bubbles.
There's a difference between 'apologizing for being a man' and 'treating women as humans'.
You might at least try listening to them. But if you can't do that, maybe you'll be willing to listen to men who've tried that:

@RedSoakedSponge - That's a feature, not a bug. They want you to buy it early, when they get maximum money for it. So, online trophies to encourage you to buy when the online community still exists.
Combine Just Cause 2 with Infamous 2's user-generated missions, and I'd never sleep.
@badz149 - For a PS3 hooked up by wifi - yes, downloads *can* be that slow. And installs can take quite a while if your drive is over 90% full. I know, because I've run into both issues. A Fat PS3 and then a Slim, hooked up to D-Link router.
Once I ran a wired link to the PS3, downloads sped up *dramatically*, though they're still nothing like a PC. Installs are still an issue, but PS+ at least lets them happen at night while I'm sleeping.
I strongly suspect that the 'smoke travel' won't be 'teleporting'. It will almost certainly be like the 'shadow swarm' flight in Festival of Blood. Note - that can be used as an attack in FoB, no reason it couldn't in Second Son.
A man is incapable of using first-person pronouns, so he sounds ridiculous.
Well... divorce and remarriage, conceivably.
Finding the female body beautiful is one thing. Having a female character go into combat with no protective gear is just stupid.
