That's true, but at least the tech should theoretically extend the life of the card with the demands of future games, even if the trade off is, as you said, not true 4k/60.
It might be possible on the lowest settings.
Since even the 2080TI is having trouble running this game at 4k/60, we'll have to see if this DLSS is all it's cracked up to be. If it does what I've been hearing it does, then a 2080 or maybe even a 2070 should be able to run this game at 4k/60 no problem. Hopefully this DLSS isn't just a bunch of hype.
Exactly, the whole wage gap subject is fake news. You are correct, since they do average out what a woman makes over the course of her life and what a man make over the course of his life. They do not take into account the amount of time the woman may take off from work to have children, among other things.
They also don't take into account the fields of work that women choose when compared to men. An average woman will take up a data entry job, or become a waitress, or...

Ubisoft plans on re-telling the story, allowing for Artificial Insemination, to fill in the plot holes.
I'm sure the same thing keeps you out of the service.....
Ubisoft is weak, like so many of these multi-national corporations.
This is what worries me about potentially spending $1,000.00 CDN on even an RTX 2080 (not a TI). If these cards are barely managing to play games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Anthem and Ghost Recon Wildlands at 4K, then what will the results be 2 years from now? These games are serious resource hogs, and I would imagine that future games will continue to require even more power to run at 2160p. I've been very interested in upgrading from my GTX 780 lately, but I'm really stuck o...
Media sites should be calling this the 'paid demo', just to highlight what this really is.
After Mass Effect: Andromeda really not doing well at all, Bioware cannot afford to have this game bomb. If it does, then I believe Dragon Age 4 will be their final chance. Personally, I think we're looking at another Visceral situation. From the look of things, Bioware's magic is long gone unfortunately.
Lets stop the nonsense. As of March 2018, there were a total of 34.2 million PS Plus subscribers. There is nowhere near 100 million psn users.

And Disney has mistreated the Star Wars brand with the terrible movies that they've been making. EA and Disney are like two peas in a pod.

While the gaming industry was smaller, there was also far less competition. When you look at the NES, there wasn't anything competing on its level. Even the Sega Master System barely managed to compete. NES generated a ton of excitement when it came out, where all the kids were talking about it. Video games were still a relatively new experience at the time, and everyone wanted to try it out.
Compare that to Xbox One today, and you have hea...
The PS4 Pro says otherwise. Checkerboard rendering is for the birds. Microsoft's controlers are of a much higher quality, are far more durable and are far more customizable. And of course, the Xbox Elite controller is the best controller ever made.
But then we get into hardware features, like 4k ultra blu ray support, 1440p pc monitor support, support for all web cams on the market, and keyboard and mouse support. Xbox One X also had as a far higher rate of native 4k ga...
Exciting times for Microsoft. Looks like we have some competition coming around on the software side of things. Now all Sony needs to do is bring some serious competition on the hardware and network side of things, and next gen will be a blast.
It depends on what metrics you are using to determine who will have the better year. In terms of announcements, I feel like Microsoft will have the more exciting year. With Playstation, we all know whats coming this year, and Sony is skipping e3.
What year are we in again?? What a joke...
Do you think Guerilla Games would have said anything else?
They will.
