I was considering going with a Radeon VII a few months back, but I'm glad I didn't. I would be concerned about future driver support if I did own one. I do believe that Navi is a major reset for AMD, and that these cards will be supported long term. It will be interesting to see how the AIB models perform with aftermarket overclocks.
If this E3 response from John DiMaggio is any indication, there's a sliver of hope that the game might be alright:

Now we need the RX 5800 series specs to leak, and then AMD will be in a near perfect competitive position with Nvidia. Hopefully the RX 5800 will launch before the end of this year, especially considering that AMD has just announced that the relatively new Radeon VII, has already reached "end of life" status.
I'm white, and I love watermelon, so I'm not sure what issue is. It's a fruit for Pete's sake.
Every first person shooter has used ideas that were in Call of Duty at one point or another, so even if Cod used something from another game, who cares. Ever since CoD4, the FPS genre has never been the same.
What grown men look like when acting like a bunch of 5 year olds.
Its a CNN article, it's fake news.
In some sense, I can agree with the title of the article, in that simple economics dictates that the average mainstream gamer will not shell out big money to purchase a video game console. I believe that both the Xbox Two and PS5 will launch at no less than $600.00 USD, which to many people is a steep price. If it is over $600.00 USD, then the adoption rate will be painfully slow.
People like Rich at Review Tech USA, who I respect, keep saying that paying $600.00 today, fee...
This guy isn't going to last long at EA. Either fall into line and bow down to politically correct woke culture, or you will be expunged from the evil corporation.
Don't use facebook, problem solved.
Except politically today, they advocate for everyone being a brick in the wall under Jeromy Corbyn.
And low I.Q. too.....

If Nintendo had created another console, with the same results as the WiiU, they would have been in huge trouble financially. They are lucky that the Switch took off the way it did. Its tue though, that you have to give them full credit for reinventing themselves once again. It will be interesting to see what they come up with next.
I was thinking the same, but in terms of Navi, that is an RX 5700XT, which beats a GTX 1080/ Vega 64. The problem now, is that many people don't think the PS5 and Xbox Two will be using Navi 10, but rather Navi 20, which wont be out until next year. This means that since the consoles will support ray tracing, that Navi 20 will have some sore of hardware excelleration for ray tracing. Navi 20 is also going to be more powerful than Navi 10.
So what i'm starting to thi...
Very filthy indeed.
Looking at benchmarks for most of the day today, and I was surprised that the Ryzen 5 3600 out performs the Ryzen 7 2700X in gaming. I was considering going with Zen+ with the discounts that are now happening, but it isn't worth it. I'll probably go 3700X or 3800X, but I'm really not excited about having a motherboard with a chipset fan built onto it. Might be better to go with a B450 board and flash the bios, but I havent made up my mind yet.
