MGS2's ending makes perfect sense once MGS3 and MGS4 have been played. Article fails for having it on the list, especially at #1. There have been several other games that have had weird-ass endings. As much as I LOVE the Assassin's Creed series, those games have had some pretty crazy endings (haven't finished Brotherhood yet). Not saying those endings are purely ridiculous, but surely they should have been taken into consideration for this list. Also, 8-bit games barely have endin...
I can see lots of dune buggies and Drake having epic gunfights in sandstorms. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of cities as well.
Playing through this for the first time on PS3, and I must say I'm really impressed. RE4 is my favorite, but RE2 is just loads of scary. Atmosphere, unexpected moments, and the basic need of survival are what make this game shine. Playing through the game twice as each character is, to me, what RE has always been about.

Did I miss anything?
Figured I'd test my knowledge, so thanks. Nice avatar btw, I play Mirror's Edge like I'm in a relationship with it (I am).
Isn't that from Snow Day?
Does IGN fall under one of these ten things?
I feel like simpler games have more potential to offer a higher replay value. Usually, brilliance is found in the form of simplicity, and that's why all the older games like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Sonic, Mega Man, etc. are considered classics: they were brilliant, yet simple.
Sure, a complex story is nice, and that's one of the main reasons I play games, but don't think for a SECOND that simpler games aren't just as important, if not more so. We need simpl...
Gabriel doesn't have to be as badass as Kratos. Each character is depicted in a different world, different time period, different motives, etc. Gabriel will do what is needed in Lords of Shadow, just like Kratos did in the GOW games. Just as long as it makes sense in that particular story and universe. Such comparisons and competitions like this are irrelevant.
I only liked the first God Of War. Not sure why, but the last two didn't impress me all that much.
This is the kind of stuff more people should be commenting on. Gaming is a positive influence on youth. Such is not why kids are overweight these days. It all comes back to the parenting. It's all about managing times and schedules. Playing outside is more important than gaming it up. I was always outside, and I loved every minute of it. But play games, too. It's definitely the most interactive, challenging, compelling, and amazing form of entertainment.
I just have a feeling Assassin's Creed III won't be just in one set location.
I didn't read this article and saved 5-10 mins. If I read it, I would have lost 5-10 mins. But I didn't, so that 5-10 mins can be spent on something worthwhile. Minus the last minute or so I spent typing this.
Square Enix has a lot to do to get back on my good side again.
Thank goodness. Co-op ruined it for me, it should be implemented better, stupid story as well. Too much action. Give me RE2-3 in an RE4 style and I'd be happy.
I have 3 platinums. Both Uncharted games and Mirror's Edge. The Mirror's Edge platinum is one of my proudest gaming achievements of all time, easily. I play games to have fun, but occasionally, I set goals for myself trophy-wise to prolong a game if I enjoy it highly.
I would murder for a Parasite Eve game on consoles. Other possibilities are a Chrono sequel, Vagrant Story, Musashi, a FF spin-off or sequel, or it is entirely possible it's a new IP.
Kojima is too brilliant to be tied down to one franchise. Let the man work on something else!
That's a LOT of jelly beans.
This is the only sequel I've wanted for the last year now. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
