If it's a good game, I will support it no matter who makes it or what the franchise is. A good game is a good game, but Sledgehammer needs to overhaul the entire franchise to really stand out.
Finall someone I agree with! I'd take a developed character over some empty, mute, create-your-own character any day. Isaac Clarke was way better in DS2, and Hawke will be much better in DA2 than the main character from DA:O. Never should a main character not speak! It's just lazy development and unacceptable in this current generation of gaming.
I could NOT agree more. Just look at every Witcher 2 or Crysis 2 article on here! "Oh, great. Another game watered down for consoles." They know the PC version will be superior anyway, and those games are being PORTED to consoles. Can't they just take a chill pill and move on? No. They must rub it in our faces. What a bunch of basement-dwellers.
Include some form of Spec Ops. Black Ops had nothing for single-player players after the lackluster campaign. They would do well to innovate in other areas. With Brink (what I believe to be the most innovative FPS of the year, if not ever), Killzone 3, Crysis 2, etc. there is steep competition for Modern Warfare 3. They would do well to take that to heart and deliver a truly great sequel. And hey, I enjoyed MW2. I think we can all appreciate that more after the crap that was Black Ops.
I still haven't played Enslaved. I'm picking it up soon, though. You can blame the timing of the release, and it's all warranted, but it also has to do the with Call of Duty effect and gamers' unwillingness to give a new franchise a go when games cost $60 a pop. They'd rather spend the money on something they know they'll enjoy. Even if they would enjoy this new IP better, they aren't willing to take that chance. If games were cheaper, I think Enslaved would have s...
The multiplayer is what will save Killzone 3.
You're comparing the Helghast to Nazis? Fail.
Yes, SE is still relevant, even if they don't make good games. Why? Because their games sell. Why is this important? They make RPGs J-RPGs to be more specific. As long as Square is around, more RPGs will sell in a time where shooters are the second coming of Christ. And I happen to have loved Final Fantasy XIII. FFXIII-2 promises to be more non-linear (it takes place in Pulse, and without the government chasing all the l'Cie). Also, FF Versus XIII looks to be the best game this gen. S...
Finally! Someone who agrees with me that RDR wasn't a great game! It's about time. It really is just GTA Wild West, and I hate GTA. No idea why I picked it up in the first place.
Cliffy B is the Kanye West of video games.
How about a Call of Duty game set in the DEEP past? Like 1800s or earlier than that? That's more original than futuristic, don't you think?

Hmm, her armor leads me to believe that she may be a fal'Cie.
Say what you want, but I loved FFXIII. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but I was completely engrossed. FFXIII-2 will surely take place almost exclusively on Pulse, which would suggest a little more non-linearity would be the obvious progression. And it releases this year?! I'm game. Lightning strikes twice. Love me some Lightning! The purple-haired man intrigues me, too. Can't wait for the trailer on the 20th!
Square has to stop making games that they think "appeal to Western audiences" and go back to what they did in the 90s. And also, stop making so many damn games for portable consoles. People wanna see Parasite Eve on the PS3. People want sequels to franchises like Chrono, Vagrant Story, Bushido Blade, etc, as well as new IPs that don't "appeal to Western audiences". Square knew what they were doing back then. Wanna earn the fans trust? Start doing what the damn fans wan...
Hopefully this means we'll see Mirror's Edge 2 soon.
I'm not getting into this debate, but what I do find funny is that if someone mentions they don't like a certain game, even though it's just OPINION, they automatically get deluged with disagrees. If you back it up clearly with FACTS, let your opinion go warranted and consistently argued.
Games cost too much money for someone who say, didn't like the demo, to shell out $65 for a game. I have no money, and I myself wouldn't pay full price for this game. I ...
Final Fantasy VII for what it means to me personally.
But, to speak outside my personal meanings, Final Fantasy X takes the cake.
Haha I just had to comment because the typo was just SO funny. That was a really good laugh haha.
At first I thought it was sincere as a jab at Square haha
