If SUBSTANTIAL information isn't released, then this will be a very disappointing conference. While I don't expect anything concrete like a release date, I'd like to know more than I did four years ago.

This looks, to me, to be the best FPS of 2011. Call me a lunatic, but I'm not much for Killzone (hate the controls - yes, I know you can change them, but still). Anyway, I'm happy to hear SD doing a lot of polish on it. The Mirror's Edge-inspired mechanics have me MORE than enthused (ME being in my top 3 games this gen). Couple that with what looks to be wonderful multiplayer, a fantastic world, and an actual STORY IN AN FPS, and this is pushed up to one of my absolute must-haves....
As much as he deserves it, I don't think an athlete should be on the cover two years in a row for any sports game. You need to differentiate from each title as clearly as possible. I'm not sure this does it.
I'd love a FFXIII-2. However, this statement does not mean a direct sequel. It could mean anything. It could mean that Lightning is in Versus, or some other spin-off, or she could be in Kingdom Hearts 3!
However, all these possibilities, I sincerely hope it is FFXIII-2. The world is rich enough to have a sequel, and exploring ALL of Pulse would be wonderful. It would be less linear by nature. I say make it happen!

It's good to see some type of praise for FFXIII. Nowhere near the best in the series, but still a solid addition and is my game of the year for PS3. It's the one game that disappointed me the least this year out of everything I played.

WOOHOO! Color me super excited! This is the reboot I've been talking about! I can certainly get behind this. Maybe Square's best work this generation is for other companies' franchises. Based off early work, this certainly looks promising. If it comes out in 2011, consider my wallet raped tenfold.
All this talk about the graphics get on my nerves. Sure, they aren't the greatest, but they are certainly applicable from what I've played of Black Ops. Treyarch has gameplay over graphics. Isn't that what matters the most?
Solid list. I personally found Final Fantasy XIII to be one of the better installments of FF overall. It doesn't compete with VII or X, but I found it every bit as good as VIII for the most part.
Resident Evil 5 was the biggest disappointment to me. If you look at it as an action game, it's great; but as a horror game? It fails across the board. Story was utter shit, and I'm pretty damn sure a side effect (or main effect) of Uroboros is to make ever male character...
