Many reviews including Gamespot and Eurogamer just to name a couple have gone well outside the scope of what is normal unbiased and non-agenda based game reviewing, so if people are saying the game is as you say being "maligned" then theres plenty of examples of exactly that being the case. Crackdown 3 is a separate issue and has absolutely nothing to do with this and the fact that people keep bringing it up to make a pointless comparison only shines a blinding spotlight on their ow...
Agreed but they will be so significantly diminished they wont be anywhere near as bothersome as they currently can be. Cerny apparently showed that in his Spider-Man loading screen test.
Its funny usually everyone's up in arms about government intruding into gaming until people want them to stop the "greedy game makers" apparently. Slippery slop though.
"If days gone sold 200 k at launch in North America it would be considered a bomb, right?"
Were not talking about NA were talking about Japan, you obviously dont know the history of western game sales in that country. The game is selling well, people are happy, why do you feel the need to ruin that for people? Let people celebrate the Japan sales if they want.
Congratulations to Sony and Bend Studios. Truly happy to see that the slander campaign and agenda reviews have failed, Days Gone has proven that making something this good has the power to shine through and rise above all the hate a negativity. Proud to say I contributed to the overall sales and I am really hoping Bend makes Days Gone 2.
Selling as much as HZD is not a requirement for the game to be good. This ideology of the game has to be at the level of other PS exclusives is hilarious, its honestly the dumbest excuse for hating on the game. Its like people are saying, "hey your really good games aren't as good as your stellar games so it has to be bad, right?"
It seems to be perpetually in alpha, which is the problem. And no there were no trick questions just very simple and to the point ones that for some reason can't be answered. Please post a link to one of these game play videos on youtube, and I dont mean people aimlessly wondering around not doing anything I mean actual objective based missions.
How many missions are there? Hows the story? How long is the story? If theres a "fully playable game" how come its not available to everyone and why are their no reviews for it?
"it's so out of place with the atmosphere of the game"
Really, have you even played the game? I'm guessing you haven't or you'd realize how wrong that comment is. Regardless its just banter between two characters in a game, banter that makes sense for the characters and their relationship and the fact people are nitpicking and critiquing it to death just goes to show people will grasp at straws to make negative comments about this game.
