Finished the game and platinumed it this morning, as someone who's played it all the way through and has actual first hand knowledge versus those just spreading hate for a game they've never played and never will, I can honestly say I'd take many of those user reviews far more seriously than critics giving it a 5/10.

Well its clear you dont speak for all people because I have a PS4 and I'll be getting a PS5 rather its more expensive than the next xbox or not. Apparently its not that simple.
Wait weren't you tho one who said you wouldn't buy PS5 because of what it could potentially cost in Canada, you do realize the next xbox will be just as costly there, right?
Its all good man I know you're not referring to Days Gone, we're having a civil conversation which I appreciate, might be the first between you and I hope its not the last, its such a rare thing around here. I think the thing we can all take away from your latest comment is that we shouldn't really put much stock in "typical N4G". I agree about Anthem but honestly D2 is a much better game than it was when it first released and Battlefront although mired in loot box contr...
No you're the one constantly showing up to every negative review article attacking the people actually playing the game and defending it to people like King_Noctis who is on a mission to trash it. That would be you. Look we get it although you have no first hand knowledge you think Days Gone is bad and you defend anyone who thinks so too. I'd call your campaign "too funny" as well if it wasn't so sad.
The problem with people like him and yourself trying to use glitches as an excuse is that a glitch can be an individual experience, many of the glitches or bugs that have been shown I myself and others have stated numerous times we have never seen. So to take one persons experience and try to blanket the game as having broad technical issues is a false narrative.
Its not that they dont matter its that they shouldn't be taken as the final word and Days Gone has proven that in spades. Too many outside factors play into reviews these days, factors like the reviewers personal bias, world views and agendas which should have no part in game reviews yet we are seeing just that. Anyone with a computer can self proclaim to be a game journalist these days and so there are many out there that are unreputable and have zero credibility. The even bigger problem...
