PS4 is half the size but nearly twice as powerfull, only has one operating system which, together with the unified memory (GDDR5) makes for a smoother experience all round, PS4 is cheaper, and finally the track record of playstation consoles tells me as a gamer that Playstation 4 is the only way to go!!

Had Microsoft not come out with all of the stupid 'Operation Prism' ideas on controlling their consumers and spying on them then we could have taken the ridiculously large XB1 seriously if that size meant reliability. This gen (PS3/360) 1080p @60fps - not actually 1080p I know - was exceptional, even 720p @30fps was good. Next gen 1080p @60fps will be the standard from decent studios, no reason for software to fail in reaching this target. Launch window games are struggling but a couple of years in and most games of quality will be 1080p @60fps.

While I will choose GT6 on PS3 over Driveclub I do not doubt Evolution Studio's ability to deliver a visual treat, and fun gameplay at PS4 launch. We just look at their track record (pun) and remember that launch window Motorstorm was fun, and the best looking console game until that point.
It would be impossible for any Team to beat Rockstar at what they do. Metal Gear Solid is my favourite series, but Kojima Productions do not make open world games. GTA 5 has a whole American State to play in with all of the hustle and bustle of the real word, the greatest such realization ever, built upon many years of experience, many different stories to explore, its the players journey as much as the game's characters.

The frame rate on Suzuka circuit is much improved, this is nearly enough for me added to the wonderful physics. I'm confident veterans of GT5 will notice further differences to the full game that together make Gran Turismo 6 on PS3 worthwhile. I would not want it on PS4 as a PS3+ game, I'll wait a couple of years for a full fat GT7 making real use of the hardware.

This is hilarious. PS3 and 360 are relatively weak systems, but even so, the difference between them is incredibly obvious. PS3 is any where from 20% to 33% more 'powerfull'. Playstation 4 and XBone have many times more performance than their predecessors so any extra oomph from one over the other is going to be easier to spot.
