That's great, but the performance is still only what the hardware can deliver.
I don't know if they are right, but GT certainly taught me something. Years ago I was driving a roundabout, not fast. But the road became incredibly greasy - a Diesil spill or something? - and my car dramatically understeered in a straight line. I released the accelerator and immediately the car oversteered, kicking the back end out. I just steered into it without thinking and regained control. It happened very quickly and I don't think I even left the inside lane of the roundabout. ...
No mate, he is absolutely correct, it won't look like that. Have you even played GT5? If GT6 was identicle visually to GT5 but without the frame rate issues then I would get it. As it is I am sure it will look cosiderably better than the previous game. No doubt that GT7 will look that good, hell, GT6 ported to PS4 would probably look identical to that trailer when freed from the shackles of mediocre hardware.
I can't wait to get GT6 for my PS3. They are doing things which Turd...
GT6 on PS3 is doing more than Forza on the XBone. Initially Forza might look better, all shiney and next gen, but I imagine spending time with both games would quickly reveal Tessellation, weather effects, and night racing in GT6 making their absence on XBone really noticeable.
Beyond the launch window 1080p@60fps will be PlayStation standard. Why the fuck is Microsoft doing what they are doing?
The XBone is the size of a warehouse, a big empty one.
Reason No.6
You are mental.
I have to disagree somewhat. It was a fantastic game.
For me a higher frame rate is best.
And for films I never even liked the 24fps feature for movie playback on PS3. Great we had the choice, but it is not for me.
Give me 1080p@60, thanks Sony.
Of course they will aim for parity, like this gen that doesn't mean that they will be successfull. As next gen progresses then the XBone will struggle (it is struggling now) and when a game on it struggles with frame rate and screen tear logic states that the same game will be butterly smooth on PlayStation.
This is not important though. Exclusives on PlayStation will show what the console can do, like this gen on PS3, only more significant because of the 'different' diffe...
You moronic buffoon. Wait till we are past the launch window.
Ha ha, practice what you preach, friend. Gaikai is widely regarded as having the best 'potential' future in this market. A lot of work is still to be done, but all seems to be in order for delivering a whole online eco system for PlayStation. No outlandish claims of being more expensive but underpowered, until Pixis come down your phone line to magically improve your consoles performance.
We don't need to deal with, you and Microsoft need to deal with it. You are the ones spinning this crap. We have actual performance to carry us through the next gen.
I loved my PS3, but Phil Harrison was full of Shite when he was at Sony.
'I don't believe any developers will ever fully utilise the power of the PlayStation 3' and other bullshit statements mean that XBoners are welcome to his lies.
Don't get me wrong, the games on PS3 prove how good it was, but he went too far.
That is not true, in my opinion. Even optimising for the relatively weak CPU will deliver great increases over time. Using the 8 cores and really multi threading efficiently could be delivering great results over the consoles' life cycle. Then techniques for putting traditionally CPU centric work loads onto the PS4 GPU with many ROPs, plenty of RAM, it is looking good.
He should have just compared the first Uncharted to its sequels, not the LOU.
Wise up, mate. Cloud?
This is nothing. The NSA can do this, and more thanks to software put in for them. Controlls such as XBone On, XBone Record, Kinnect Intrude into the personal lives of XBoners, ect ect.
What lies? Sony claimed that PS3 was full of technology, and it was. Maybe not as they had initially envisioned, but PS3 was the most capable games console with great games, an excellent Blue Ray player, upscaled DVD's when 360 couldn't properly play them, had free online connectivity, HD in every console, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in every console.
What lies?
Maybe she should have led the development of the XBone, he here.
#Troll Alert
So many things to take issue with, but I will focus on just 1 area, those best of show awards and nominations. How many people were fooled by games running on PC's with much more oomph than the Next box?
