Many are not confirmed. It was a sizzle reel nothing more.
More like the same Battlefront disc again with a code in the box FeelsBadMan
on disc?
The main concern with Farpoint will be motion sickness, pretty much every FPS that allows free movement results in motion sickness. This happened to me and my friends who tried Scavengers Odyssey, World War Toons, Here They Lie, etc. RIGS it still happened but a little less.
For me the clarity and resolution are more of a problem than the tracking. You have to train your eyes to accept the blur/soft look or you'll be squinting your eyes trying to find sharp detail that isn't there which results in you focusing on the screen door effect.
Some games seem to handle the screen door effect much better than others.
P.S. I have done all the setup and calibration stuff.
Thanks for the clarification, I had to close my eyes when the screen went black and that effect was visible as it was causing me to squint. lol
To be honest the blur people are experiencing in PSVR is not unique to DriveClub, Every PSVR game I've tried so far has been somewhat blurry and soft looking. I'd liken it to wearing someones prescription glasses in many cases.
If you try and focus your eyes to resolve more detail you'll end up squinting on the screen door effect so you are best to keep your focus locked.
I can confirmed the VR sickness mentioned the review. I only played the demo. I think demo's will have to be essential for every VR game so the gamer can determine if the game is comfortable or not.
I played the demo and found the screen door effect to be a bit much in this game.
Great game.
Tracking issues no matter how minor are not acceptable for controllers or headset = sickness
Well the Steam / Oculus Store software attachment sales have been incredibly poor and most users will probably buy more than one piece of software. So you could probably work out a reasonable estimate of headset ownership from that data. I would guess it is definitely below 100,000.
After the live stream coverage from many video game outlets talking about tracking problems with PSVR it seems like there will be plenty in stock for anyone willing to take a gamble.
(^^)b
As someone not living in the US who wants a physical copy any recommendations on how to acquire one?
is it time for developers just to pack up PC gaming and go home? It seems abundantly clear that triple A PC titles are incapable of launching without being broken crap. I'm getting sick of it.
https://youtu.be/x_mF6m_WJF... < Pretty much the reaction from most live streams I saw.
It seems like almost every VR game is falling into the category of "open every box and turn every knob" as someone who has a PSVR these kind of games lose their appeal very fast.
