I hope their new game is Twisted Metal! TWISTED METAL, PLEASE COME TO THE PS3 SOON!! Black was ahead of its time in graphics and it had great gameplay. I hope they can recaptivate the greatness of Black on the PS3, even if it's more cartoony like Head On.

Remember all of the reasons why PS2 outsold the Xbox? They can't use those reasons now, because they apply to the 360.

And I had to log in just to reply to this. It's complete bull. Warhawk and Killzone 2 are the only online games that play well? I must be the luckiest man in the world, because all of my other games besides those two that are online play great. Resistance 2 = 60 players with no lag.
Sure Socom and COD had horrible lag when they released, but those are only a few bad apples.
Give me a ****ing break... It wouldn't be able to sell on PS3? Prologue sold darn well for when it was released and Gran Turismo 3 was released before the PS2 even had a big install base. That logic makes no sense whatsoever. GT5 will be released to a larger crowd than GT3.
Zipper says hello. They messed the game up just as bad as Slant Six did, but gamers back then weren't as critical and hard to please. Despite the bugs, glitches, hackers, etc everyone seemed to love Socom 2.
VGChartz and Nextgenwars should be banned from every site on the web and heck the console manufacturers should try to take them down. They are ruining this industry with their stupid guesses and fake numbers making the console wars bigger than it really is.
Nothing I have said is as ridiculous as was in the article/comments around here. Yeah LBP is completely different, but I see Killzone having legs just like several other games have had legs. Resistance 2 didn't do stellar, but it has kept selling and done pretty well for itself.

The fact is it wasn't a bad seller, it sold fine and I'm sure Sony isn't saying, "Oh we didn't sell 5 million day one, what will we do with the fanboys?".
No one will be pointing fingers at RE5 in a few weeks when it has dropped off of the charts, so who cares?
Killzone 2 is performing great. Everyone was like, "OH LITTLE BIG PLANET WAZ TEH FLOOP!!" and look at it now. 600+ thousand in the U.S. alone and is catching up to MGS4. Since when did first day/week sells equal success? You can come up with so many reasons for why it should have done better, but in the end they all don't matter.
They claim it to have no personality and they go to a game that is exactly the same with no difference from every other shooter on the market. Double standard much?
And Resident Evil 5 will be slipping after 3 weeks too but no one will be claiming RE5 isn't selling what it should be. :|
What is going to happen to Incognito? What will they make now that all of the franchises that they did previously and as SingleTrac has no more key members?
Jaffe/Scott Campbell is in Eat Sleep Play. Most of the members from Warhawk, War of the Monsters, and Black are in this new studio... I guess we can rule out an Incognito Jet Moto?
Well hopefully this new studio makes some good games, but there are so many questions this leaves unanswered.
Who says Dylan Jobe left Incognito? I haven't heard that and he recently has replied to people on Twitter saying that he can't talk about the new game they're working on. That pretty much suggests that he never left.
That they already said there were no plans for DLC on XIII. Even if the 360 gets DLC, who cares? People now days act like DLC is a whole entire game. Versus XIII > DLC.
Square would be extremely unwise to have exclusive XIII DLC on 360 considering it's exclusive in Japan and it would fracture their Final Fantasy fanbase even moreso. Final Fantasy fans are getting a PS3 for both games, but then they'd still be missing out. That's just bad business.
An action platformer RPG? Ratchet Adventures would be awesome. :D
What about Twisted Metal? I'm willing to bet the new one will be a mass hit, or at least make lots of people jealous. Twisted Metal has always sold Playstations and it's just time for a comeback.
I was just correcting him and there is cause for concern. PS3 is doing well and the software on PS3 is doing well. It will be increasingly hard to buy 3rd party exclusives from what I can tell.
Anyway I hate to say it but I just don't see COD MW2 being any good unless it uses a whole new engine. It'll probably be World at War set in modern times... just like World at War was COD4 set in WW2. Although I won't be so quick to pass it off yet.
Is the list just showing games that will be on sale when it starts and not the prices they will be on the sale? Because 59.99 for Valkyria is standard pricing...
