MGS4 didn't get lots of 360 owners to buy a PS3 simply because 360 owners don't like those slow types of games. They want stuff like Gears and Halo and Killzone. You can't compare MGS4 to a FPS anyway. Plus then you have the fanboys who would never convert saying MGS4 is more movie than game and it sucks and blah blah blah.
This is a game about one person and his adventures through the world, not one person with another helping him through everything.
Electricity and gun powder do not mix. If he touched a gun the bullets would explode. He can't ride in a car for the same reason, it's metal plus they give you other forms of transportation anyway.
It would be pretty boring driving a car in this game, I think.
Resistance 2 is great. I never even liked FPS games before I tried R2(aside from Tribes 2). I played Counterstrike, Halo, Killzone 1(I like the second one a lot though), etc and never like any of them. R2 is the first FPS that I have enjoyed.
I thought they were Microsoft exclusive devs because of the Project Gotham series. What's up with this? Have they ever been multiplatform?
Is how every sequel should be, just better in almost every aspect. I really liked PR and hope some DLC comes soon. With Arctic Edge coming to PS2/PSP, I wonder what the next MotorStorm on PS3 will be like. Will it be snowy like AE or completely different?
White Knight Chronicles confirmed for NA/Europe? I hope so! Hopefully they mean Demons Souls too.
Your question is not valid in the way you presented it.
1) There are many many games that you play that have been just rehashes for sequels.
2) You haven't played LBP or you have absolutely NO vision/imagination because there is a huge room for improvement with LBP. They could add tons of stuff.
3) I'm glad you're not a game designer, because after your first game you would not have any ideas for a sequel.
I didn't really look at the site, but even PS fanboy sites can get overrun by trolls.
Anywho, @ExgamerLegends I don't really think MS's "FFXIII on 360" was all that big. So they got a multiplatform game, it's not like they had any big exclusives of that magnitude. Sony? I don't know, I expect lots even if it's just on games we already know are coming out but Sony execs have confirmed there are unannounced games still.
I personally feel like they're doing so...
So what, the Xbox and Nintendo fanboys just decided to quit for the few days that the poll was up? It's not like Sony is the only one with hardcore fanboys.
Did I say overhyped? I meant overrated. I don't think they made Playstation king and I think there are games currently on the store that are better than those. This isn't bad new though, I welcome all new classics and hope this is true.
I realize that the nostalgia argument can be applied to the games I mentioned, but I was just giving my opinion on what games I would rather see. Those old games I mentioned, I can still enjoy whereas I find two of the three games mentioned in thi...
I don't think he was trying to be funny, but you said yourself that it was silly so I guess it worked. :D
People hating on this game. They have fixed it and while it is totally inexcusable for how it launched, the game just is great now and lots of fun. The PS2 games didn't get this much flak for being laggy, glitchy, and full of cheaters but oops! I forgot this is a PS3 game, PS3 games have to be the most innovative thing since the creation of video games.
Now all of the sudden Socom is getting looked down upon for being like Rainbow Six or Counterstrike when on PS2 people claimed i...
These games are extremely overhyped, imo. Great games, but I think nostalgia paints them better than they actually are. What I want to see are the first two Driver games, classic NFS games, Jersey Devil, Silent Hill, Croc, Gex, etc, etc...
Since when is cover in first person not new?
Should I list a bunch of generic shooters that have done nothing new, are popular, and don't get bashed for it?
Call of Duty being the biggest offender in that category. It seems like since it's a PS3 game it has to be the most innovative thing in all of gaming history! We should be able to control it with our thoughts or else it's crap. :| The double standards with Killzone 2 are vomit inducing!
In case you hadn't noticed, them PSP has been #1 in Japan for quite some time now and is getting huge support by Japanese developers. Notice all of the tons of RPGs it's getting?
Innovation? Tapping the screen at the right moment is innovation? Sony did that in the 90's with Parappa the Rapper. Different controls does not equal innovative gameplay. Patapon is just as innovative than anything on the DS.
Is it so hard to understand that some people like PSP more? I hap...
No is correct, they did sell well.
And I'm serious. Any self-respecting gamer would, I feel sorry on how you have to miss out on so many great games. It would be nice if every game was accessible to everyone, but it's not ever going to happen. So quit hitting yourself over the head and just get one. :)
Words of wisdom, my friend.
Ever since Monster Hunter PSP has been on top most of the time. DSI surged over PSP for awhile since it was a new model, but PSP was still nipping at its heels and now it's back on top. This is why PSP has been getting so much 3rd party support in Japan.
It has the Playstation Network logo... Uncharted 2 will have some form of online capabilities. Infamous only has the, "Only on Playstation" logo and nothing more.
