I'm extremely excited for Team ICO's next game, but it really won't steal the show for but a few fans. Team ICO's games haven't ever sold that well really. SOTC sold decent though, but I don't know if their game has what it takes to steal the show. I hope I'm wrong though.
A show stealer for me personally would be a new Twisted Metal. Oh man, I can't wait. I'd also like a Jet Moto 4 from Incognito. :D

First it was, "PS2 is only doing better than Xbox because PS2 had a year head start" and ironically that argument was tossed out the window with the 360 and they had to come up with more idiotic reasons for why they owned a better system.

It's talking about Versus XIII, not the regular XIII which is multiplatform.
The hype alone for making it 3D would sell it and pay off for them. I don't really think it takes much money to make it in 3D anyway. Sony was supposedly supposed to have a firmware come out that enables 3D on all games. That was a rumor though, but if it's that easy I doubt it's that time consuming.
MW2 will be using the same old engine COD4 used. It'll be tweaked and optimized, but to do anything that's not a rehash*cough*WAW*cough* they're going to have to completely overhaul the engine.
I think Killzone 2 will hold its own against MW2 as is, but it will undoubtedly have a big DLC pack by the end of this year. At least I expect that. Anyway, MAG will be better than them both imo. MAG is going to be best FPS this year if they execute it well with little to no lag.

When more than one website confirms it, I'll believe it. So far one website said it was confirmed and it was posted on N4G as confirmed. Not confirmation in my book. More than one website has to say that.
A simple google search will show you that. The only website stating this is Gamezine and N4G. Not confirmed by a long shot and also it's funny how they think Sony will let their engine be used on a different platform...
It's not coming out on 360. PS3 and PC only.
PS2 was hard to develop for, hence why it took so long to see games like God of War 2(and that was because of the talent behind the team). 360 is basically just a computer architecture, it's easy to develop for. Sure it's not maxed out, but they're closer than they are with the PS3 because they already know how to efficiently squeeze the juice out of that system.
Comparing the graphics improvments from PS2 to 360 is asinine. It would be better suited to compare 360 to the origin...
Spinning it. PC has a death grip over computers, just because Windows is pretty much standard does not mean people like Microsoft. People don't buy PC games thinking about how Windows is so great.
Then how does that exactly mean they love Microsoft over there? You just pointed out there are more PS3 games in the top 15 and in higher positions. I'm not seeing how 360 is doing better.
I don't see how anyone can call Resident Evil a lost exclusive when most of the PS2 era it was exclusive on the GameCube and we never got an exclusive new title(aside from some spin offs). Code Veronica was on Dreamcast first, RE4 was on GC first.
RE1 was on Saturn, RE2 was on N64, all of them were ported to Dreamcast and GameCube.
Sony knows Gears 3 is going multiplatform. Ok, moron, get real. When Microsoft says stuff, is that because they know Sony is going to deliver a blow to them? People these days.
So far it has been true and the only one screwed is Microsoft because they have no real 1st party base and with PS3 doing so well in hardware and software now, they won't be able to so easily convince companies to go exclusive even with a check.
Maybe you haven't noticed all of Sony's great advertising through PS1/PS2? Heck, I'd say PS3 has had some good ads too.
The difference is, it's much more secure having your own studios. Paying money for exclusivity doesn't mean everyone you want exclusive will be for it. Plus you could even lose exclusivity(like many Microsoft 3rd party exclusives have been lately) with loopholes through the contract and whatnot.
Destruction Derby 4 and Jet Moto 4!! Think how awesome these games could be on new technology. I hope Incognito considers making Jet Moto.
But when it's your consoles definitive title and you have no good FPSs out in March like your competition, the people who haven't bought it yet will buy it only because they can't get that other FPS from their competition.
Sad about Resistance Retribution. It probably flopped because everyone downloaded it. It's America(don't get any funny ideas, I live in America) the land of no morals and piracy.
