With the info we've learned from Game Informer, how can anyone call it run of the mill? What other online shooter has planes dropping real people into the game for support?

The PS3 might not be in the same position market wise as the PS2 2.5 years after release but it is, IMO, far ahead of PS2 in terms of games after 2.5 years.
I still don't see them doing it, this is a rumor that's as hard to believe as PS3 being able to play PC games. Sony isn't stupid and they know about PC piracy. They don't like piracy and that is why they have implemented strict anti-piracy methods on all of their consoles.
Twisted Metal 2 came out on PC and that was a Sony owned franchise. They discontinued it quickly though or something because they were worried it would hurt the sells on Playstation.
Why would they want to expand into the PC market all of the sudden? I think it's just a nice idea they thought of, but doubt it will happen. Microsoft started it. What a laugh, they just copied Insomniac, they've had it on Ratchet and Clank since 2002. Skill points may not be universal, but in essence they are the same thing.
Sony's biggest exclusives aren't third party and their first parties are very talented. Some of them are even considered some of the best in the industry(Naughty Dog, Team ICO, Santa Monica).
