A sensible post?! FINALLY!!!
Well have you thought that maybe people just like GT5? It is better than all of the previous GT games and while it isn't perfect it still was the best sim racer on consoles. Forza 4 will be great and a fine addition to the genre but GT5 still holds its own.
There were people disappointed but only the people who thought it would be perfect. The fact that GT5 still keeps selling(it is still in the UK top 10) shows that people like it and the fanboy B.S. hate that is spewed ...
Guess you haven't played GT5 then huh? lol It has good graphics but it isn't head and shoulders above anything.
I'm disappointed that Twisted Metal won't be coming out this October. I am looking forward to inFAMOUS 2 Festival of Blood and Gran Turismo 5 Spec II the most though.
@gogo. I realize that large amounts of sugar isn't good for you but I have never gained a pound from drinking tons of soda. Also you pay roughly the same for a cup of soda as you would for a code on ebay so you aren't making any sense. Buying a $2 cup and not filling it would not be any different from a $2 code with no drink.
If you get fat from a soda you must have a slow metabolism....
You aren't fooling anyone.
This game looks awesome and it looks vastly improved from the beta!
Yes!
2008: LittleBigPlanet
2009: Uncharted 2
2010: God of War 3
I don't see what the big problem is, COD looks like @$$ on consoles but that game doesn't have people complaining about the graphics.
I remember reading someone saying if they did a deal with McDonalds that U3 would fly off the shelves and that Subway was a stupid choice... Well apparently they didn't not hear about how Subway surpassed McDonalds in number of stores in the U.S. and became the #1 food chain. I think they did a great job by using this to promote Uncharted 3.
How is it killing the used game market? Down the road you can still get it used and STILL save money on it. A pass is only $10 so even if you buy it used and buy a pass you'll still be saving money. Unless you buy it used right away in which case $5 isn't worth quivering over.
It'll be out in patch 1.04 though so it shouldn't be too long.
I disagree, I'm glad they could give some closure to the story and leave room for sequels without having a cliffhanger. I did not like R2's ending just because it left so many questions unanswered, but R3 left out the cliffhanger for Joe Capelli's story anyway.
It hasn't been for the past three years soooo.... I wouldn't say that.
I wouldn't give this anything less than an 8.5. I've been thoroughly enjoying it since it came out.
@Arksine... You know quite well that they would still make enough money if they weren't multiplatform. I'm not saying every game they make should be PS3 exclusive but they can't really be too concerned with money considering they've left several games to rot on 360(Last Remnant for example) and won't port it even though they'd make way more money with those games on PS3. They'd EVEN make more money off of those games in the west on PS3.
Incorrect. It was not promised in September, it was merely hinted that it would be around September or October. Now it's more precise and not just a vague timeline. I expect it to be out when he says it will since it's pinpointed(they kept their promise that it'd be out by 2010 too).
Spec II added 37 cars and 1 track to GT5 Prologue. I'm expecting Spec II for this to be features with DLC being cars/tracks and stuff.
Spec II is a big update with DLC to follow. Spec II in GT5 Prologue gave us over 30 new cars and a track so when they update Specs, it usually is something significant.
