Remasters serve a purpose, other than just more revenue to the publishers...
Current gen games are bigger and take longer to make, it's that simple. If there were no remasters this gen, then the wait for new IP would be even more intolerable.
I really don't see what the fuss is about. Remasters are just hole fillers, albeit good ones. Those who have never played them before or want upgrades benefit. You really don't have to re-purchase them if you...
Removing Kinect gives developers more options, and not all games require it. I believe it's a good trade off. It's awesome that they can make gains with the GPU so early in the game :)
Who cares...an amazing studio, making an amazing game can be trusted IMO.
Edit
....and I'm with Foxtrot on this one. Don't kill off Elena.
You're absolutely right...
Some gamers will probably love it. But, for me, I've seen better looking and more playable games from Indies on PSN.
It'll find an audience, sure...but I don't expect this to move enough units to inspire a sequel.
@stuna1
'Of course price was also a factor, but that goes without saying'.
So why you saying it???
Kiddin' Loool :-)
I agree, Xbox One will move more units without Kinect though.
Is this a joke?
MS didn't listen back in 2010 when 360 owners were vocal in their concern that Kinect was taking away from the 1st party games they actually wanted to play...so why does this PR/Dev think MS listened to the 'consumers' now?
Noooo! MS only reacted because the Xbox One sales are woefully lagging behind PS4's, this is basically because of the 'forced' Kinect 2. Forcing every potential Xbox One owner to accept Kinect 2 or n...
This is totally cool for PS4 owners who'll look to purchase this game. I myself probably won't, the game looks very last gen.
The low quality visuals, the restricted semi-open world town of Salem has terrible low poly NPC characters in comparison to the main character.
Besides, I got way too many better games on my 'Must Have' list LOL ;).
And...it's hardly a deal breaker for Xbox One owners though...life goes on :-)
Who approves this stuff? LOL
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or Durh...oh nvm.
Anyway, 6.3 million units.
6 days until the full monty :)
Farewell PS2 lite...
You served your tasks well :)
Hey, don't try and spoil the party! ;/
#partypooper
Can't believe the hate flowing from people trying to downplay the Sony E3 conference/booths ect...
PS4 released more powerful, more 1st party product in the pipeline, more (much) sales, more higher quality 3rd party support, more customer focused, more value driven content, more attractive form factor....MORE ;) ...all this from a supposedly near bankrupt company.
This appears to irritate some of the non-PS4 owners, whom are seemingly completely and utte...
@XiSasukeUchiha
Raytracing already on PS4. It's implemented in Killzone Shadowfall. Do some research prior to a failed comment ;)
Saved? I don't know....
But it certainly put Wii U back on the map.
@Abriael
Every PS4 article, and there is 'Ballsack' spreading negativity SMH ;/
Xbox One Forza Horizon 2 screens look absolutely beautiful....
People are looking for faults & flaws, but they'll need to wait until the final product before jumping the gun ;/
@theshonen8899
The lack of weather effects in Forza 5 probably had more to do with deadlines and time restraints than anything else.
MS wanted the game out at Xbox One's launch. I don't believe it has anything to do with the ability of the Xbox One or the engine Turn 10 used. After all, even the 360 can do weather effects.
People claim to be gamers, yet do not understand the process ;/
LOL Mentally :)
Sony have a deal with DC Universe, so it would be 'conflict of Interest' territory and counter productive.
