Yup you're right The Ripper records date from 1888, but the already have weapons and aircraft in the game, of which never existed at all. Here's hoping Jack attacks...something! Lool :)

We can have 1080p on almost all our games. Battelfied was a very early launch title (excused), but Watch Dogs!! Hmm, Watch Dogs releasing @900p was a political move IMO.
It's never been officially mentioned, but the reason Watch Dogs was delayed so long, and we never heard anything about the X1 version until near release was because the devs were struggling to get the performance required.

I realize cross gen for most publishers is less risky at the beginning of a new gen...but it's time to concentrate on what these bad boys can do.
Much as I loved the PS360 era, they had the spotlight longer than any console before them. I wanna be wowed in a 'only on current gen' kinda way.

You can work that out just from the specs of both PS4/X1. They're far from the cutting edge (for the time 2005/6) PS3/360 specs.
Sony/MS definitely went for a more regular life-cycle than last gen, and that's a good thing.
